Congressman Paul Gosar

Paul Anthony Gosar is an American far-right Congressman, representing Arizona's 9th district. Throughout his political career, Gosar has been at the center of multiple controversial incidents due to his openly antisemitic and violent views. This has resulted in his removal from multiple committee assignments in Congress. 

Gosar has also engaged in "meme culture" on his Twitter account, including the #DarkMAGA movement, which has ties to neo-Nazi meme culture and often expresses violent desires towards perceived enemies. These actions and associations have drawn criticism and raised concerns about Gosar's stance on antisemitism and white supremacist ideologies. Many of these accounts found in "meme culture" push the "great replacement theory" which suggests minorities are replacing white Americans. This ideology spurred multiple mass shootings, including the 2018's Pittsburg Tree of Life Synagogue massacre to carry out his attacks.

In 2021, Gosar publicly supported the activities of Vincent James Foxx, a well-known white nationalist who assumed the role of an unofficial propagandist for a neo-Nazi fight club. A few years prior, Gosar even shared the stage at a white nationalist conference with Foxx and former "Antisemite of the Week" Nick Fuentes, a Holocaust-denier and promoter of antisemitic ideologies. This made Gosar the first sitting politician to participate in such an event. 

In October 2022, Gosar tweeted to his supporters to "Pray for Kanye West. They will throw everything they have at him simply for speaking the truth” in response to Kanye’s online threats against the Jewish people. 

In April 2023, on Holocaust Remembrance Day, Gosar promoted an antisemitic website that praised him for condemning “Jewish warmongers.” This website espouses antisemitic conspiracies, denies the Holocaust, and lauds Hitler as a "courageous figure". 

His anti-Jewish rhetoric has drawn national and even familial criticism. Six of Gosar’s siblings have spoken out against his antisemitic ways. His brother is quoted saying, "It is extremely upsetting to have to call you out on this, Paul, but you’ve forced our hand with your deceit and antisemitic dog whistle."

Denying the historical reality, extent, methods, or deliberate nature of the genocide committed against the Jewish people by Nazi Germany and its collaborators during World War II are all examples of antisemitism according to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism. Antisemites like Paul Gosar must never be allowed to serve in Government and we urge the people of Arizona's 9th District to VOTE him out of office in this next election cycle. 

Albert Faleski - aka An0maly

Albert Faleski, a.k.a. "An0maly,” is a popular right-wing social media figure, conspiracy theorist, and "rapper" who rose to fame during the 2016 U.S. presidential election. In recent years, Faleski has spread dangerous and false theories about Jews to his hundreds of thousands of online supporters, accusing Jews of having "dual loyalty" to the State of Israel and other harmful stereotypes.

His antisemitic beliefs can also be found in his music, where he often raps about "Zionist power" and how Jews "control the banks and world." Examples of Faleski accusing Jewish communities of having dual loyalties to Israel include:

  • In December 2019, he tweeted that the late American businessman Sheldon Adelson was guilty of "dual loyalty" for his relationship with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

  • In 2021, after being a long-time advocate for former President Donald Trump, Faleski turns on him for supporting legislation that would protect the Jewish communities from the onslaught of antisemitic violence that stems from hate speech: "Are you paying attention? (They) are pushing SPEECH LAWS to stop people from talking about DUAL LOYALTY."

  • On June 10, 2021, Faleski called Ben Shapiro "Satan’s little boy" for condemning the phrase "dual loyalty" as antisemitic. Faleski doubled down on his Jew-hatred a few months later in August of 2021, when he called Dennis Prager & Shapiro liars for suggesting Jews do not have dual loyalty with Israel. 

Faleski also rejects the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s (IHRA) definition of antisemitism and other legislation that protects Jewish people from bigotry and hatred. For example: 

  • In 2022, he tweeted out a definition of IHRA’s definition stating, "They say it’s hate speech to say Jews killed Jesus, have more loyalty to Israel than other countries & saying they control large sectors of society."

  • In January 2023 Faleski tweeted, "They’re passing speech laws in America because they serve Zionism over America."

Faleski also falsely equates Jewish people with "power" and "control." For example: 

  • In April 2021, Faleski tweeted out to his thousands of followers, "What do Epstein, Weinstein & 85% of the writers, producers & media execs making the most subversive programming have in common? I’ll give you a hint." This false conspiracy of Jews controlling the media is extremely damaging to the safety of American Jews. 

  • In April 2022, Faleski claimed Trump "blew it" (his re-election) because he and others "pledge allegiance to Zion Don The Big Pharma Shawarma."

  • In October 2022, Faleski tweeted, "The Nick Cannon & Kanye West rule: Your Hollywood handlers want you to aggressively bash European white people for a living — NOT Jews. Do NOT talk about Jews. You will be put in Whoopi Goldberg timeout. Stick to bashing poor white people. Not those who own your companies." In the same thread he continued to state Jews were trying to create a race war and he is trying to expose their "scheme."

In April 2023, activist Candace Owens appeared on An0maly’s podcast where the two discussed age-old antisemitic tropes. Owens also made startling statements about her former Jewish boss, Dennis Prager: "he is so warm and likable, you don’t even think twice that he is Jewish." An0maly agreed with her assertion and the two continued their dialogue regarding Jewish victimhood and defending the 2022 Antisemite of the Year, Kanye West. 

Accusing Jewish citizens of being loyal to Israel or to the alleged priorities of Jews worldwide over their own nation and spreading other harmful misinformation and conspiracy theories about Jews is deemed antisemitic by the IHRA definition of antisemitism.

Sean Kauffmann

Sean Kauffmann is a disturbed neo-Nazi and Holocaust denier with a documented history of violence and a massive cache of firearms. Kauffmann associates with terrorists, shares bomb-making plans, and openly threatens specific terroristic acts. 

Kauffmann is an engaged member of the Tennessee Active Club, who is regularly spotted sporting his signature red kilt. Active Clubs are a decentralized coalition of white supremacist crews that operate on a national scale, taking much of their ideological and strategic direction from the white supremacist group known as the Rise Above Movement. Active Club members consider themselves fighters against a system they perceive as hostile to white people spreading white supremacist propaganda, attending demonstrations, and holding private training events inspired by European MMA-based white supremacist groups. 

Kauffmann, who goes by "Boog Fuhrer" or "Fash Squatch" and his band of white supremacists often communicate on the channel "Terrorgram," an active channel on the communications app, Telegram. The group actively distributes antisemitic propaganda and messaging, calling for the dismantling of "Jewish power." Some of Kauffmann's self made flyers can be viewed below, including "WITH JEWS YOU LOSE" and other antisemitic slogans.

Kauffmann has used Telegram to seek advice from white nationalist Jarrett Williams Smith on how to hide firearms. Smith & Kauffmann’s exchange regarding an assassination plot of Representative Beto O’Rourke ultimately led to Smith’s arrest. Smith, a former US Army soldier, was charged with sharing information on making explosives and weapons of mass destruction. He expressed interest in attacking a news network and a presidential candidate and communicated with a neo-Nazi group about carrying out an attack. Smith pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 24 years in prison.

Kauffmann, who has a history of domestice and sexual abuse, encourages his followers to assert their dominance through violence and sexual assault. He claims to have sexually abused his nanny, now his wife, to breed a "klan" of Nazis. In his free time, he shares his fascination with explosives. Kauffmann and his wife actively share threads of plans to bomb various cities throughout the country. Around 2020, Kauffmann relocated to Tennessee. In July of 2020, Kauffmann was arrested for violently assaulting individuals at a Black Lives Matter protest. In April 2023, Kauffmann appeared alongside Patriot Front at a protest in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he was seen giving the Hitler salute. A 15-year-old he included in the protest screamed, “kill all the n*ggers and the Jews.”

On August 20, 2022, neo-Nazis held an MMA tournament in an undisclosed location in San Diego; the Nazi fight club operates under the guise of fitness or martial arts and has become one of the most important recruitment tools for white nationalists in the United States. It is a place where white nationalists are able to come together to spread incitement against the Black and Jewish communities. Members have stated: "This event showcases the strength and fabric of nationalism in America that will terrify Jewish power for decades to come." Sean Kauffmann, along with members of the Patriot Front, participated in the fights. 

Justifying the killing or harming of Jews in the name of radical or extremist ideologies, making mendacious or stereotypical allegations about Jewish "power," and denying the Holocaust are all clear examples of vile and dangerous antisemitism.

Email Tennessee Governor Bill Lee and ask for Red Flag Laws to be signed into law which will help prevent more gun violence in the state that has now become home to a growing number of armed white supremacists.

Daniel Segal

Daniel Segal is a Professor of Psychology at Pitzer College in Pomona, CA, where he has a record of engaging in antisemitic and anti-Israel activity. 

In November 2018, Segal spearheaded an effort to have Pitzer suspend its study abroad program with the University of Haifa in Israel. He was supported by former "Antisemite of the Week" Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (pictured below with Segal), but thankfully, his efforts failed.

Segal is known to partner with and support several problematic groups such as Open Hillel, an organization that’s criticized for its antisemitic bias and bigotry. He also frequently tweets his support of the antisemitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement and is an advisory member of Anthropologists for the Boycott of Israeli Academic Institutions. For example, in May of 2021, Segal tweeted: "Self-respecting Jews are anti-Zionists, bc Zionism is settler colonialism, ethnic cleansing and apartheid--and racist. Self-respecting Jews aren't racist. They support Palestinian freedom. & #BDS." Segal atrociously considers fellow Jews who consider themselves Zionists as colonizers and perpetrators of genocide and apartheid.

Minimizing the atrocities of the Holocaust, Segal has grossly appropriated the slogan, "never again," nearly 50 times between January 2019 and June 2022, in a malicious attempt to draw a comparison between Israel and Nazi Germany. For example, on: 

  • June 24, 2021, Segal tweeted: "2/2 self-respecting Jews know 'never again' means never again to anyone. Hillel Intl is now a pro-Israeli apartheid and anti-Palestinian organization that deserves no institutional support on any college campus anywhere."

  • September 15, 2021, Segal tweeted: "To all observing, may this be the Yom Kippur when we seek atonement for the sins done in our Jewish name by the Israeli apartheid state: it's denial of freedom to Palestinians. 'Never again' must mean to any human being or it too is wickedness. #YomKippur2021 #GmarChatimaTova."

  • November 13, 2021, Segal tweeted: "As a Jew, I am obligated to support #BDS, because 'never again' means for any of us. Seeking security for a people by attaching it to a state, a militarized state, is evil: we know the consequences. #PalestinianFreedom.”

  • January 25, 2021, Segal tweeted: "How dishonest & evil a person are you willing to be? Never again means never again for any human being: you betray the memory of the Holocaust." Segal was responding to a tweet defending Israel’s vaccine distribution during the coronavirus pandemic. Despite Segal’s claims, All of Israel's citizens, including Arabs, were provided equal and free access to a coronavirus vaccine. Palestinian leaders rejected the initial delivery of the vaccine stating false expiration dates were the factor. 

Segal is also an open supporter of convicted Palestinian terrorists such as Leila Khaled, a leading member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) who participated in the hijacking of an aircraft. Khaled has said that the second intifada failed because it was not violent enough, advocated for the use of children in committing terrorist acts, and compared Zionists to Nazis. 

Equating Israel with Nazi Germany and comparing Israel to apartheid are blatant examples of Jew-hatred according to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism. Segal fiercely rejects the IHRA’s definition of antisemitism for these reasons.

Carlton Williams

Carlton E. Williams is an Assistant Professor at Cornell Law School and a lifelong Jew hater who supports antisemitic boycotts, spreads antisemitic rhetoric, and supports convicted terrorists.

In his free time, Williams spends countless hours on his social media platforms spreading antisemitic libel against the Jewish people and nation, leading efforts with the antisemitic Boycott, Divest, and Sanctions Movement (BDS) and the International Solidarity Movement (ISM). He has been obsessively critical of the Jewish nation, pushing antisemitic rhetoric under the guise of Black empowerment and solidarity. As part of "Israel Apartheid Week" (IAW) in April 2018, Williams participated as a panelist in a "Black Palestinian Solidarity" event hosted by Harvard Palestine Solidarity Committee. Williams falsely equates the struggles of Black Americans with Palestinians. 

In January 2019, Williams called for a boycott against Puma for conducting business with the State of Israel. He shared a similar tweet when calling for the boycott of Sabra Hummus as it is an Israeli product. 

Williams included on his resume as of October 2021 that he held the position of "Community Organizer/Trainer" at Palestine Legal and the International Solidarity Movement (ISM). ISM claims to be a non-violent front against the "occupation" yet been accused of supporting terrorism and has encouraged its foreign volunteers to act "as human shields in cities, towns, and refugee camps." 

Williams has been invited to give speeches and presentations at events organized by radical agitators Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at multiple chapters on university campuses. The majority of SJP chapters champion terrorists and terrorism.

Williams often dives headfirst into spreading antisemitic conspiracy theories of Jewish power and control. For example, during a 2016 SJP panel, Professor Williams stated: "This is sort of a rhetorical question. Does the Israeli lobby control the United States government or does the United States government control Israel as a proxy in the Middle East?" mimicking antisemitic rhetoric of Jewish power and control. 

Williams also makes no secret of his support of Palestinian terrorists. For example:

  • In 2018, Williams shared with his followers to write a letter to then jailed terrorist, Ahed Tamimi. Ahed Tamimi frequently uses violent force against Israeli soldiers. Her father, Bassem Tamimi, is known for using children to provoke conflicts with Israeli soldiers and was imprisoned in 2011 for encouraging minors to throw rocks at Israelis.

Boycotting Israeli goods, calling for violence against Jewish people, claiming Israel has "control" over foreign governments, and comparing Israel to apartheid are blatant examples of Jew hatred according to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism.

Houria Bouteldja

Houria Bouteldja is a French-Algerian political activist and writer who uses her position and platform to spread dangerous antisemitic libel against the Jewish people. An advocate for the antisemitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, Bouteldja is best known for her work as a spokesperson for the Parti des Indigènes de la République (Party of the Indigenous of the Republic), a French political organization that advocates for the rights of immigrants and descendants of immigrants in France, particularly those of North African and African descent.

Bouteldja remains a highly controversial figure due to her antisemitic and homophobic statements as she often makes a habit of using tropes vilifying both in her writings and speeches, including referring to Jews as "the new priests of the dominant ideology" and claiming that Jews hold a privileged position in French society.

The majority of Houria Bouteldja's statements and writings have been criticized as antisemitic by various individuals and organizations. In her widely criticized book, "Whites, Jews, and Us: Towards a Politics of Revolutionary Love," Bouteldja referred to "panicked Jewish elites" as those who control the government and claimed that Jews hold a privileged position in French society. This assertion has been criticized as promoting antisemitic stereotypes.  

Moreover, in a 2017 speech, Bouteldja's statement that she "could not care less" about the murder of Jewish woman Sarah Halimi, who was killed by a Muslim neighbor in Paris because Halimi was "a colonizer," was widely condemned as inciting violence against the Jewish people. 

Furthermore, Bouteldja has faced criticism for her use of antisemitic language in her criticism of Zionism and the state of Israel. In a 2013 interview, she referred to Zionism as a "criminal ideology" and claimed that it "shares the same DNA as Nazism." 

Additionally, her use of the phrase "Jewish lobby" in her writings has been viewed as promoting antisemitic conspiracies and tropes that are harmful to Jews. 

Additional examples of Houria Bouteldja’s dangerous ideology against the Jewish people and other minorities include:

In 2020, Bouteldja was subject to legal action due to her ongoing harassment of April Benayoum, a French beauty queen who is also Jewish. Bouteldja used antisemitic language in reference to Benayoum, including the phrase "Hitler forgot to exterminate you, Miss Provence.

Despite Bouteldja's prejudiced sentiments, she remained a prominent figure in French politics and activism and has been invited to speak at events and conferences around the world. 

StopAntisemitism was disgusted to learn Yale University’s European Studies Council invited Houria Bouteldja to speak on their campus during Passover. Yale’s Jewish students deserve to feel safe on campus, free from antisemitic bigots like Houria Bouteldja.

Susan Abulhawa

Susan Abulhawa is an American author, activist, and staunch antisemite pushing the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement. Abulhawa spreads vile conspiracy theories about Jews harvesting Palestinian organs and has horrifically referred to an American Israeli terror victim as "human garbage".

Susan Abulhawa calls for the violent eradication of Israel, spreads antisemitic tropes and anti-Zionist libel against the Jews, and even threatens world leaders with slanderous lies and comparisons.

On February 28, in light of the murder of Elan Ganeles, a dual US Israeli citizen by a Palestinian terrorist, Abulhawa called him a "privileged white man" who "violently colonized another people" through "robbing & oppressing." She asked why Jews in New York would be upset over this "human garbage."

In February, Abulhawa was invited to speak at Adelaide Writers’ Week in Australia. Abulhawa was under much scrutiny for her 2022 comparisons of Jewish Ukrainian President Zelenskyy as a "Nazi-promoting Zionist" and claimed he was trying to plunge the world into WWIII. This led to three Ukrainian authors withdrawing from the event.

Abulhawa also parades the false conspiracy trope that Israelis want to conquer Palestinians and "take over the world." She has even gone as far as to drop "false flag" allegations against Israel and claims Jews bomb their synagogues in order to blame Palestinians and "ethnically cleanse" them from the area.

In Abulhawa’s worldview, there is no room for Jews and Palestinians to exist in the land together in peace. Multiple times she refers to Israelis as "Nazis" and "demons" and wants Israel to be "destroyed and dismantled".

In 2017, Abulhawa discovered she was 6% Jewish and joked if she was qualified for Holocaust restitution. Yet, she remains obsessed with denying the horrors of the Holocaust and equates Israel’s treatment of Palestinians to genocide, tweeting "Zionism is terrorism is Nazism is antisemitism."

This month, Susan Abulhawa dialed up her vileness. Her Twitter account was permanently banned after she stated "the world will be a better place when Israel is wiped off the map…the end of that anachronistic colonial experiment is near.” Twitter stated her account was banned for breaking the "hateful conduct" rule and she was banned from creating new accounts going forward.

Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination and drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis is deemed antisemitic by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s (IHRA) definition of antisemitism.

Huwaida Arraf

Huwaida Arraf is a failed Congressional candidate out of Michigan and a rabid antisemite that equates the Jewish nation with Nazi Germany, glorifies and legally defends convicted terrorists, and advocates for violence against Israel. Arraf is also a big supporter of the antisemitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement and has been listed as an Advisory Board Member for the pro-BDS group U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR) since 2010.

Arraf co-founded the International Solidarity Movement (ISM)  in 2001, which has been linked to terror groups like Hamas, PIJ, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), all of which are designated as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTO) by the U.S. State Department.  

Arraf is an outspoken supporter of violence when it comes to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict: 

  • In January 2002, during the second intifada, Arraf authored an article on Palestinian resistance and intifada. In the article, she expresses "the Palestinian resistance must take on a variety of characteristics — both nonviolent and violent. But most importantly it must develop a strategy involving both aspects." 

  • In the same article, Arraf writes, "we accept that Palestinians have a right to resist with arms" and that if prospective Hamas suicide bombers would instead "offer themselves as martyrs by standing on a settler road and blocking it from traffic" that would be "no less of a jihad…no less noble than carrying out a suicide operation” and they would also "be considered shaheed [martyr] Allah."

Arraf often equates the world's sole Jewish state to that of Adolf Hitler's Nazi Germany, something deemed antisemitic under the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism:

  • In 2018, Arraf tweeted, "Shame on those who have allowed Israel to turn Gaza into a concentration camp."

  • In 2018, Arraf equated the Palestinian Resistance to the Holocaust: "Calling for the freedom of the Palestinian people, of all people, on the walls of the Warsaw ghetto should be applauded, not condemned!" 

Arraf also believes the state of Israel has no right to exist, tweeting at then Secretary of State John Kerry, stating “Israel does not have the right to a Jewish state.” Such expressions of erasure are also deemed antisemitic by IHRA.

Arraf, an attorney, boasts convicted terrorists, such as Rasmea Odeh, as clients. In 2016, the U.S. Palestinian Community Network (USPCN) wrote a tweet that Arraf was a "new member of Rasmea Odeh’s defense team" with Arraf expressing her glee, stating it was a privilege to defend Odeh. In 1969, Odeh orchestrated a bombing that killed two Jewish college students shopping in a Jerusalem supermarket. Odeh also attempted to bomb the British consulate. 

In 2020, Arraf tweeted her admiration for Leila Khaled, a Palestinian freedom fighter. Arraf included a petition that called Khaled "a powerful, inspiring figure, more than just a freedom fighter, a national icon. Khaled helped hijack two airplanes and claims the second intifada was unsuccessful because not enough Jews were murdered. Khaled compares Zionists to Nazis and advocates for the use of children in military & terror zones. 

Despite Huwaida Arraf’s hateful background, earlier this month she was shockingly invited to join a diversity panel at Bloomfield Hills High School, a suburb in Michigan boasting a large Jewish population. Arraf presented four times, to grades 9-12th, and was supposed to discuss how to build empathy within the community; instead, in each presentation, she deviated from the prompts and went on a rampage against Israel and the Jewish people. Faculty members never intervened, allowing her to continue her hate campaign, leaving several Jewish students in tears. The school was forced to apologize but caused further outrage after the principal’s message failed to include Jews or Israel. The superintendent was forced to step in and issue a second apology.

David Croteau

Tucson, Arizona-based David Croteau is an outspoken Holocaust denier, a longstanding conspiracy monger, and a recently appointed Pima County government official who pushes antisemitic propaganda. When confronted about his vile beliefs, Croteau doubles down on his Jew-hatred and anti-Zionism.

David Croteau, also known as Green Party Dave, is also a former member of the far-right group the Oath Keepers. It is rumored Croteau’s ardent antisemitism was so grotesque that the Oath Keepers decided to part ways with him in 2017. Before being removed from the Oath Keepers, Croteau was arrested, charged, and found guilty of assault, trespassing, and disorderly contact for weeks of aggressive stalking and unhinged rants against an Army recruitment office. 

In a 2014 Facebook post, Croteau insinuated Americans have been misled about the truth about Adolf Hitler, claiming the stories did not "add up" and shares a link to a YouTube video titled, "Hitler: The Greatest Story Never Told." He also denies the Nazi regime committed mass genocide against the Jewish people.  

Croteau is an avid 9/11 conspiracy theorist, claiming Israel is behind the horrific terrorist attacks. Croteau shares dozens of antisemitic memes blaming one of the worst terrorist attacks on American soil on Zionists and Israel. 

In 2017, Croteau wrote in a long-winded post claiming the time of American freedom is coming to an end at the hands of the Jewish cabal. He grotesquely stated the "world outnumbers the Jews, yet they are controlled by the Jews." That same year he uploaded a meme saying Israel was the #1 enemy of America and "Zionists" are holding the government "hostage" and "controlling everyone with the financial system."

In 2019, Croteau once again claimed Jewish power, uploading an article claiming Israel’s lobby has control of American politicians. 

During the global COVID pandemic, Croteau blamed COVID on the Jewish people in an attempt to create a New World Order. He made ludicrous statements comparing the Holocaust to the pandemic and claimed the Zionists were the ones behind COVID.

In March 2023, in a split-vote decision, the Pima County Board of Supervisors approved to appoint this Holocaust denier as a precinct committeeman. David Croteau failed to win several elections as a Green Party candidate, before being dismissed from the party due to his antisemitic views. At the time of the vote, Croteau was running as a Libertarian. In November 2022, he was declined the position, but after little debate this month, the committee moved forward with appointing Croteau to the vacant committee seat.

James Ray

James Ray is a radical Jew-hater & supporter of the antisemitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement. A graduate of Purdue University’s class of 2020, and more recently of Murray State University, James Ray has a growing audience on multiple social media platforms where he spews antisemitic and dangerous libel against the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. James has an unhealthy obsession with wishing violence upon the Jewish community and those who identify as Zionists (which accounts for more than 90% of Jews globally). Unfortunately, he has fallen for the fallacy of equating Israel to an apartheid and imperialist empire; this mindset has encouraged James to become a terrorist sympathizer and supporter. 

The BDS movement is linked to multiple terrorist organizations and supporters call for the elimination of the world's sole Jewish nation. James Ray is one of those supporters:

  • During the 2021 Olympics, James Ray applauded the athletes who refused to compete against Israel. He claimed it was beautiful and should be celebrated. 

  • James Ray promotes the dismantling of the State of Israel, expressing multiple times throughout his Twitter feed the idea of "free Palestine from the river to the sea." 

  • James Ray calls for the destruction of the state by physical means. 

James Ray has a troubling and violent mindset when it comes to the Jewish community. He often advocates or stands in solidarity with those who wish to harm or even kill Jews & Zionists: 

  • On November 26, 2021, James Ray expressed his support for Yasmeen Mashayekh - a former 'Antisemite of the Week' - who was removed from student government at the University of Southern California after she tweeted her desire to "kill every motherf—king Zionist."

  • On December 26, 2021, two Jewish college students were violently assaulted for wearing Israeli Defense Force (IDF) apparel and called "dirty Jews." Ray mocked the incident saying, "the IDF can’t protect you in Brooklyn ❤)."

  • On February 27th, U.S. citizen and Connecticut born Elan Ganeles was murdered by a Palestinian terrorist. James Ray’s response was horrifying, "He made a conscious choice to join a genocidal occupation force as it continues a campaign of mass ethnic cleansing and set himself up in the West Bank on the front lines of the colonial endeavor he sought to uphold. He deserved to die, and his memory will be a stain on the land."

James Ray also embraces terror organizations: 

  • In 2021 James pledged his support for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).

  • Also in 2021 James shared he was reading the PFLP’s 1969 book, Strategy for the Liberation of Palestine; the book claims that in order to liberate Palestine, a violent armed struggle must take place between Israelis and Palestinians.

Bella Hadid

Bella Hadid is an American model, influencer, and social media poster child for online Jew hatred; she is also the daughter of disgraced Jordanian real estate mogul and former “Antisemite of the Week” Mohamed Hadid. Like her father, Bella Hadid obsessively spreads false and dangerous disinformation about the Jewish people and nation to her nearly 66 million followers on social media. 

In December 2017, Bella joined a protest in London that challenged then-President Donald Trump’s decision to move the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Many protesters at the event were caught chanting in Arabic: "Khaybar, Khaybar, oh Jews, the army of Muhammed is returning," a slogan referring to the prophet Muhammed’s bloody ruling against Jewish tribes. "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" (a Hamas rallying cry for the elimination of the Jewish state) was also widely heard at the protest. Hadid later defended the protestors' chanting on Instagram, stating: "The treatment of the Palestinian people is unfair, one-sided, and should not be tolerated. I stand with Palestine."

Shortly after this protest, Bella began falsely labeling the Jewish state as "apartheid" and calling the Jews in Israel "a group of colonizers" who conduct ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians. She dismisses the fact that the Palestinian population has grown from 1.37 million in 1948 to 14 million today. If Israelis are partaking in the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, they are doing a lousy job.

In May 2021, during a violent season in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, Bella Hadid attended a pro-Palestinian rally-turned-riot in New York City with Waseem Awawdeh, who is charged with assaulting an innocent Orthodox Jewish man at the protest. Awawdeh and many others brutally beat Joey Borgen so badly he was taken to the hospital in serious condition. During the attack, Borgen was called a "filthy Jew." Awawdeh said, "I’m going to f*cking kill you. Go back to Israel so Hamas can kill you." Awawdeh was apprehended and upon arrest stated, "I would do it again."

Bella Hadid never condemned Awawdeh’s antisemitic actions but instead took to social media once again to proclaim, "The way my heart feels…To be around this many beautiful, smart, respectful, loving, kind, and generous Palestinians all in one place...it feels whole! We are a rare breed!" StopAntisemitism was quickly able to link Awawdeh to Hadid with photographic evidence and she promptly deleted her photos and traces of him from her feed.

In July 2022, Hadid went on a tirade of sharing false information across social media claiming: "Israel was occupying Palestinian Land for 4000 years" and "Jesus was Palestinian." In a separate Instagram post by Bella and her sister Gigi Hadid, they shared: "One cannot advocate for racial equality, LGBT and women's rights, condemn corrupt and abusive regimes and other injustices yet choose to ignore the Palestinian oppression." Israel is the only country in the Middle East where women’s rights are championed & LGBTQ+ rights are celebrated. Tel Aviv hosts one of the largest Pride parades in the world; whereas homosexuality is a death sentence under the Palestinian Authority (PLO). 

This is not the only time Bella has spread misinformation to her millions of followers; Hadid posted an image claiming newly elected Prime Minister of Israel Neftali Bennett said, "I’ve killed lots of Arabs in my life, and there’s no problem with that." and that the “former minister of justice for Israel was encouraging genocide against the Palestinians, specifically pregnant mothers." Her ongoing antisemitic lies caused a petition of nearly 70,000 signatures to circulate calling for brands to drop Bella Hadid.  

Shockingly, despite Bella Hadid's antisemitic behavior being well known in the fashion and makeup world, this past week beauty brand Charlotte Tilbury announced Hadidwould be the new face of the company, angering thousands and thousands of the brand's loyal fans.

Mark Ruffalo

Mark Ruffalo is an American actor who spends his free time spewing antisemitic rhetoric and dangerous anti-Israel propaganda to his nearly 30 million social media followers. Ruffalo regularly aligns himself with antisemitic positions and fans the flames of Jew-hatred masked as pro-Palestinian activism. 

In 2018, Ruffalo tweeted his outrage over CNN’s firing of antisemite Marc Lamont Hill. Hill was caught inciting violence against Israel and the Jewish people by reciting rhetoric that called for the dissolution of the Jewish people and the only Jewish nation. Ruffalo stated Hill was advocating for Palestinian rights, when in reality Hill openly called for the elimination of Israel, encouraged Palestinians in their "resistance," and was later linked to notorious antisemite Louis Farrakhan.

In 2019, Ruffalo signed a letter of support for the UK’s Labour Party leader, Jeremy Corbyn. Despite Corbyn being a staunch antisemite, Ruffalo described him as a "beacon of hope against racism." The Labour Party, particularly under Corbyn, was discovered to harbor deeply anti-Jewish bias, which led to Corbyn’s dismissal. 

In 2020, Ruffalo grew agitated and whined about being labeled antisemitic for falsely accusing the State of Israel of being an apartheid nation during his time on the Mehdi Hasan Show. Mehdi Hasan, another notorious antisemite, is an avid Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) supporter who within one week of launching his show on MSNBC invited guests to spew antisemitic & anti-Israel propaganda. 

In 2021, Ruffalo boasted he was "proud" to add his name to support the ending of genocide at the hands of Israel. Unfortunately, the organizations he aligned himself with to “protect Palestinians” called for the destruction of Israel and America. Instead of supporting human rights groups, Ruffalo was openly supporting terrorist organizations whose mission is to destroy the world's only Jewish nation. 

Mark Ruffalo’s outrageous comparison of Israel to genocide and apartheid was met with harsh criticism around the world, leading Ruffalo to issue an apology. In a tweet, Ruffalo says he regrets using the term "genocide." He said his description was inaccurate, inflammatory, and disrespectful and does not justify antisemitism.

Ruffalo’s apology was unfortunately short-lived; just five days after expressing his regret for inciting antisemitism, Ruffalo resumed his dangerous anti-Israel rhetoric on Twitter. 

In 2022, Mark Ruffalo tweeted his outrage over PayPal’s decision to pull business from Gaza due to ongoing transactions that were tied directly to funding terror operations by Hamas and calling for the slaughtering of Jews. Ruffalo, not bothered by that mission, asked his followers to sign a petition to overturn PayPal’s decision. Thankfully, PayPal refused to cave to Ruffalo's outrageous demands. 

Later in 2022, Ruffalo tweeted against the United Nations adopting the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s (IHRA) definition of antisemitism. He echoed the false claim that defining antisemitism was instrumentalized to "discourage free speech." Despite Ruffalo’s call to dismiss the IHRA’s definition of antisemitism, the definition has been endorsed/adopted by 40 countries, 300+ non-federal governments, thousands of Jewish academics, hundreds of universities, the European Union’s Coordinator for Combating Antisemitism, as well as the former UN Special Rapporteur for Freedom of Religion. 

On February 15, 2023, Ruffalo tweeted one of his most outlandish and defamatory tweets to date, stating: "between their spyware, election tampering, disinformation campaigns, state-sanctioned killing of journalists, apartheid, & their new ultra-right wing nationalist party, there are power centers in Israel that are antidemocratic & dangerous to world peace." This antisemitic ideology that Jews control the media, Hollywood, banks, and world peace are tropes which have been used to persecute the Jewish people throughout the course of history. 

At a time when antisemitism is running rampant online, Mark Ruffalo continues to incite and contribute to a drastic increase in violent incidents toward American Jews. Violence begins with words and Mark Ruffalo is complicit in the ongoing rise of antisemitic violence against the American Jewish community.

Joe Rogan

Joe Rogan is the host behind The Joe Rogan Experience, a highly controversial podcast tainted with bigotry and racism, diving headfirst into spreading antisemitic conspiracy theories to his audience of nearly 13 million people.

In 2022, Spotify announced they were removing 113 episodes over incidents of racism and incentive language after footage surfaced showing Rogan using racial slurs.

Rogan has compared Covid-19 vaccines to "Nazi experiments" and vaccine requirements to the "Holocaust."  Holocaust survivor Gidon Lev called out Rogan for his antisemitism, stating - "You are absolutely not promoting freedom, but promoting hate, antisemitism, and possibly even more violence and constant hate."

Throughout the years, Rogan has also hosted a sea of problematic guests on his show including Jordan Peterson, who joined Rogan on a podcast to discuss an array of issues and compared 'Nazism' to various contentious LGBTQ topics. Rogan has also interviewed Alex Jones who has created an open platform for antisemites to spew hatred and violence against the Jewish people, including Holocaust denier and past 'Antisemite of the Week' Nick Fuentes and StopAntisemitism’s '2022 Antisemite of the Year' Kanye West. 

During Kanye West's antisemitic tirades in 2022, Rogan fiercely defended West after his antisemitic tirade and full-fledged attack on the Jewish people. After West threatened to go "Death Con 3" against the Jewish people and said Hitler & the Nazis "did good things" Rogan pushed back saying, "Ye is not a bad person...he’s gifted."

A few weeks ago, Rogan hosted Breaking Points co-host Krystal Ball on his podcast discussing Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s removal from the Foreign Affairs Committee over repetitive antisemitic remarks. Omar has spent much of her time in office criticizing Israel by reinforcing antisemitic tropes in a series of tweets.

In one tweet, Omar stated: "Israel has hypnotized the world," violating the IHRA (International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance) working definition of antisemitism that states "making mendacious, dehumanizing, demonizing, or stereotypical allegations toward Jews or the power of Jews as a collective" is indeed antisemitic.

Omar invoked a clear antisemitic stereotype of Jewish power and control when discussing the United States' financial aid and allyship with the State of Israel as being "all about the Benjamins."

Rogan mocked the situation saying - "the idea that Jewish people are not into money is ridiculous. That’s like saying Italians aren’t into pizza. It's f*cking stupid." Rogan continued to defend Rep. Omar throughout the conversation stating she should not have apologized for her use of centuries-old antisemitic tropes.

One of the most common stereotypes about Jews is that they are greedy and will do anything for wealth. This trope has been used to fabricate that Jewish people control the world’s financial systems, often leading to violence against Jews. The Nazis pushed the notion of Jewish greed in their antisemitic campaigns, producing propaganda films pushing Jewish wealth and greed that ultimately ended with the murder of six million Jews. Italians have never been the victims of genocide based on their "love of pizza." To compare the two is not only ludicrous, but hateful.

If Rogan's comments weren’t damaging enough, Ball found a way to make it worse by adding - "There is a very obvious reason why for my entire life there’s been a unipartite consensus around our policy vis-à-vis the Israeli government and a total inability and unwillingness to criticize the Israeli government. It has everything to do with organization and, yes, money." Rogan stayed silent and didn't push back.

When the only country that is repetitively scrutinized and under a microscope regarding 'money and loyalty' also happens to be the only Jewish state, it needs to be addressed as violence against the Jewish people stems from antisemitic tropes going unchallenged.

Brandon Clint Russell

Brandon Clint Russell is a three-time convicted felon, violent, neo-Nazi domestic terrorist who was arrested once again this week after being caught planning to destroy an electric grid in Baltimore, Maryland. Russell is a former student at the University of South Florida where he studied nuclear physics; at the time of his first arrest, he was serving in the Florida Army National Guard. 

In 2015, at just eighteen-years-old, Russell first appeared on the influential fascist website "Iron March." The forum, which was shut down in 2017, was a popular webpage for white nationalists who were able to freely express their terrorizing plans to wage war against minorities, specifically the Jewish people. Russell used Iron March to advertise his neo-Nazi regime which he was creating after an intensive three years of research: the dangerous Atomwaffen Division (AWD). He was specifically seeking radical individuals familiar with military training and received dozens of interested recruits.

Atomwaffen or 'nuclear weapons’ in German, often goes by the alias name of the Nationalist Socialist Order (NSO). It is a terrorist, neo-Nazi organization that formed under Russell’s vision of accelerationism. This mindset believes modern-day civilization cannot be redeemed and therefore must be destroyed so that a ‘whites-only utopia can take its place.’ The group obsesses over the notion of jihadi and other terrorist actions to receive this lifestyle. 

AWD is listed as a hate group and terrorist group by multiple international governments, including the US, the UK, and Canada. Under Russell’s leadership, members of the AWD were responsible for several murders, planned terrorist attacks, antisemitic hate crimes, and other criminal actions. The inspiration for these attacks originates from Russell’s inspirational heroes - neo-Nazis William Pierce, James Mason, and Joseph Tommasi. When it came to recruitment, Russell specifically sought young college men with slogans such as: ‘Join Your Local Nazis’ and ‘The Nazis are Coming.’ Russell was even able to recruit several veterans and current members of the U.S. Armed Forces to help train in the use of firearms and military tactics. Upon recruitment, members were encouraged to read Hitler’s Mein Kampf.  

AWD members were required to attend 'Hate Camps' where they produce propaganda to entice new members to join. In these propaganda videos members are seen yelling, 'gas the Kikes, race war now' while shooting weapons into the air. AWD advocates for attacks against Jewish communities because they believed the 'kike plans to destroy the Aryan race.'

In May 2017, Russell’s AWD roommate, Devon Arthurs, who recently converted to militant Islam, was arrested for murdering fellow AWD members with an assault rifle. The arrest turned into a hostage situation which led to the discovery of a large stockpile of explosives in Russell’s possession. Upon entering Russell’s room, there was a framed picture of Oklahoma City bomber, Timothy McVeigh and the explosives were the same type used in the Oklahoma City Bombing. The FBI issued an arrest warrant for Russell on explosive charges and warned he may be planning a terrorist attack. Shockingly, the Judge presiding over the case released Russell on a $200,000 bond stating he was ‘not a threat.’

Two days later, Russell was pulled over and arrested after Officers discovered his car was filled with assault rifles, explosive materials, body armor, and more than a thousand rounds of ammunition. The FBI stated the explosives were powerful enough to destroy an airliner and confirmed he was planning to target civilians, with an emphasis on attacking synagogues.

In 2017, Russell pled guilty in a federal court and was sentenced to five years in jail. While in jail, he issued a statement to his AWD members and thanked them for their ‘undying loyalty and courage.’ This letter, which was intercepted by the FBI, revealed bomb-making instructions and told the AWD members the ‘sword had been drawn, there is no turning back now.’ Russell was released on August 23, 2021. 

Earlier this week, a federal grand jury charged Russell and his girlfriend, Sarah Clendaniel, for conspiracy to attack Baltimore’s electrical plants. Before being arrested, Russell claimed this act of terror would be the ‘greatest thing somebody can do.’

Nathan Thrall

Nathan Thrall is a Jerusalem-based author and current visiting faculty member at Bard College, poisoning the minds of the upstate New York, liberal arts college with his lies of Israeli apartheid and promotion of the antisemitic Boycott Divest & Sanctions (BDS) movement.

Thrall's new course - 'Apartheid in Israel Palestine' - appears to center around bashing the world's sole Jewish nation while ignoring the Jewish people's right to self-determination, struggles with Palestinian terror, and the refusal to accept the right of Israel to exist. Claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor is deemed antisemitic by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism.

Before taking the teaching semester at Bard, Thrall spent a decade as the Director of the Arab-Israel Project at the International Crisis Group (ICG) covering Israeli and Palestinian affairs. When looking into the funding of ICG, we discover that the NGO raised approximately one million dollars from the Rockefeller Brothers Foundations, a prolific and outspoken funder of the BDS movement across the United States, specifically on college campuses. 

BDS is a Palestinian-led movement promoting boycotts, divestments, and economic sanctions against the State of Israel, often calling for its destruction. Thrall has openly expressed his support for the BDS movement and claims that the sole purpose of pro-Israel groups is to stifle pro-Palestinian speech; in reality, BDS has not sought any reconciliation with the Jewish state, but rather refuses to support negotiations or talks of a two-state solution. Instead of pushing for peace, BDS often campaigns to raise tensions in communities - particularly on college campuses - that result in dangerous harassment of Jews and Israel supporters. 

In addition to the Rockefeller Foundation, more than five million dollars came from the Open Society Foundation, which funds dozens of pro-BDS organizations. 

On top of these foundations, ICG received four million dollars from the Qatari government in 2018 alone; Qatar is one of the largest state funders of Hamas. In 2008, the former ICG president Robert Malley was fired from Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign after it was made known that he met with the Hamas terror organization. We can all agree it's not the best look for an educator to be funded & backed by antisemitic and pro-terror organizations. 

Nathan Thrall's thought process is deeply clouded by an extremist mindset. His influence from the organizations that supported and funded him casts a dark shadow in many of his reviews, journals, and literature. In one of his more famous works, "A Day in the Life of Abed Salama," Thrall paints a picture for the reader through the lens of radical Palestinians, blaming Zionism for its colonialist mindset in 1948. However, Zionism and the longing for Jews to have their homeland reestablished predated 1948. Thrall also fails to mention that any attempt towards peace by the Israelis has been fiercely rejected with the infamous phrase at the Arab League, ‘no peace, no negotiations, and no recognition of Israel.’

We know how quickly antisemitic speech turns into violent expressions and interactions. This is why it is imperative that the courses taught on college and university campuses should be unbiased and truthful. We often find that false claims about Israel translates into violent actions against Jewish students. In 2021, Bard student, Ben Mulick, a former 'Antisemite of the Week', threatened gun violence against the Jewish students on campus, ultimately leading to his exiting from the College after outrage ensued.

If Nathan Thrall truly believed the State of Israel actively practices apartheid, how could he, in good conscience, live and raise a family there? Because hypocrites like Thrall know perfectly well Israel is a robust democracy but recognize what big bucks antisemites can rake in, hence, he enthusiastically participates in the ‘apartheid’ charade.

Francesca Albanese

Francesca Albanese is an Italian native, international lawyer, academic scholar, and life-long antisemite. In 2022, Albanese was appointed as the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Palestine. In addition, Albanese is an Affiliate Scholar at the Institute for the Study of International Migration at Georgetown University and a Senior Advisor on Migration & Forced Displacement at the NGO Arab Renaissance for Democracy & Development. 

Although her resume is stately, Albanese's accolades are followed by a decade of outrageous antisemitic rhetoric against the Jewish people and the State of Israel. 

In October of 2022, Albanese made a special request within her first report to the UN that members should advance 'a plan to end the Israeli settler-colonial occupation and apartheid regime.' Her outrageous remarks violate the working definition of antisemitism by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA): ‘denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination by claiming the existence of the State of Israel is a racist endeavor.’

Albanese has also grotesquely compared the history of the Holocaust to the Nakba. In her one sided analysis, she advocates for the 'destruction' of the world’s only Jewish state. She continued her false allegations by comparing Israel to Nazi Germany. Her comments regarding the security concerns Israel faces, she claimed, were fueled by 'greediness' and 'paranoia.' Under IHRA, Albanese is in direct conflict with ‘drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.’

Upon Albanese's appointment as Special Rapporteur, controversy ensued due to her past antisemitic remarks regarding the Holocaust and the 'Jewish lobby.' These antisemitic statements of Jewish power and control ignited a bipartisan upheaval in Congress. 

This past week, eleven Democratic and Republican Congress members called for Albanese’s firing, citing her 'outrageous' antisemitism and her 'obsessive focus on the world's only Jewish state.' The bi-partisan members were quick to make the correlation between Albanese’s remarks and IHRA recognition that ‘making mendacious allegations about the mythical power of Jews controlling the media, economy, government, or other societal institutions’ is slanderous and antisemitic. 

Instead of taking responsibility for her Jew-hating rhetoric, Albanese refused to apologize for any of her remarks but instead claims her statements regarding the US being 'subjugated by Jews' were not

antisemitic. Albanese doubled down on anyone who challenged her repetition of age-old antisemitic tropes or inciting violence. 

Jew hatred has no place in the United Nations. The UN must address the hateful and perfidious speech from Albanese and remove her from this present position.

Dalton Clodfelter

UPDATE January 26, 2023: Dalton Clodfelter has been let go from the Stew Peters show after StopAntisemitism featured his stunt last week at Florida Atlantic University and as our most recent ‘Antisemite of the Week’.

Dalton Clodfelter is a neo-Nazi, antisemitic, bigot currently residing in Vero Beach, Florida. Clodfelter comes from a family that supports his antisemitism and he recently married into another family that also shares his views. Clodfelter’s parents, Bryan & Kimberly Clodfelter, continue to work within the Asheboro City School district and appear to be outspoken supporters of their son’s Neo-Nazi propaganda, never denouncing their son's supremacist agenda or rhetoric. His father-in-law, Sergeant Pedro Vazquez, is a United States Army Recruiter operating out of Duma, Texas and is an open and avid supporter of his racist son-in-law and daughter. In 2019, Clodfelter also enlisted in the United States Army.

Clodfelter is an active white nationalist livestreamer where he can be heard denying the extent of the Holocaust. In a May 2022 livestream, Clodfelter asked "Can we talk about the Holocaust, please? Can we just have a discussion about it and why maybe some of the numbers are inflated? Like just question it."

In another livestream, Clodfelter outrageously declared that he doesn't have "any hate in [his] heart for Nazis" and proclaims that burning "sexually degenerate" books is an example of something "positive that the Nazis brought to the table in Germany in the 30s and 40s."

Clodfelter has partnered with several white nationalists including Nick Fuentes and Stew Peters. In February 2022, Clodfelter appeared as a special guest speaker at Fuentes' ‘America First’ conference; Fuentes was featured as an 'Antisemite of the Week' by StopAntisemitism in 2019. Fuentes is also known for helping antisemite Kanye West in his 2024 presidential bid; West was named the 2022 'Antisemite of the Year.' Radical right-wing broadcaster Stew Peters gave fascist Dalton Clodfelter a nightly program on his network in 2022, a platform which Clodfelter uses to openly promote white nationalism. Clodfelter operates various antisemitic, bigoted social media accounts where a recent post shows him participating in blackface and slinging homophobic and racial slurs.

On January 18th, Dalton Clodfelter organized an openly antisemitic event at Florida Atlantic University. With the help of fellow white nationalist Tyler Russell, the two were canvassing the University by pushing Kanye West's latest antisemitic agenda. Video footage shows Clodfelter referring to West's words & actions as 'admirable' and he is seen laughing and ridiculing a Jewish student to the point of tears. This is a common theme among his college/university visits.

Several brave FAU students quickly gathered & organized a counter-protest to Clodfelter, Russell, and the other accomplices who were promptly removed from campus. Clodfelter has pledged to return to other universities with the same antisemitic message in the coming weeks. He has titled this mission 'College Campus Invasions’ with the hashtag #YeIsRight and claims to be spreading a message of ‘love.’

Lara Sheehi

Lara Sheehi is an Associate Professor of Psychology at George Washington University (GW) in Washington D.C. who teaches a mandatory diversity course for the psychology program. Sheehi is a grotesque antisemite that has been recently named in a Department of Education Title VI Complaint alleging antisemitism by the legal arm of StandWithUs. Sheehi, who is Lebanese, is married to fellow antisemite Stephen Sheehi, who is also a problematic Professor at the College of William and Mary.

On the first day of classes last fall, Sheehi asked students to share their names and identities. She went around the room "affirming" each student’s introduction, until one student said she was born in Israel. "It’s not your fault you were born in Israel," she replied, which stunned the class according to eyewitnesses.

Her outlandish and discriminatory remark set the tone for a contentious semester; Sheehi consistently harassed her Jewish students and then retaliated against them when they raised concerns with GW administration.

According to a Title VI complaint filed earlier this week, Sheehi accused the students of racism, encouraged other classmates to demean and exclude them for their Jewish identity, and took disciplinary measures against them after they confronted her. Not surprisingly, GW administrators - specifically the Department Chair and a GW Dean - did nothing, essentially condoning her discriminatory behavior against Jewish students.

In our recent report 'Antisemitism on U.S. College & University Campuses', GW was rated a 'D' with many Jewish students stating GW administrators do not take their safety seriously and often do not feel comfortable sharing their Jewish identity with others due to the climate on campus. GW also scored poorly due to antisemitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) resolutions passed and the University's failure to include Jews in school-wide Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. 

During the one-semester course, Sheehi subjected Jewish students to antisemitic coursework and lectures, at times suggesting their failure to acquiesce would threaten their future as clinical psychologists. In September, she invited a radical speaker to campus who has falsely claimed that Israel tests its missile systems on Palestinian children.

The event occurred between the Jewish High Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. The speaker, Dr. Nadera Shalhoub-Kevorkian, used the occasion to denounce "white Israeli racism," accuse Israel of using global relief work "to camouflage" its "oppressive power," and call for violence against Jewish people. The visiting professor went on to praise a Palestinian teenager who attempted to stab two Israelis to death in 2015.

Jewish students told Sheehi they felt targeted by the talk, questioning why they had been subjected to "a two-hour diatribe against one group—namely, Jews." Sheehi continued to deny and gaslight the students, claiming they made "damaging Islamophobic anti-Palestinian" comments about the guest speaker. Behind closed doors, Sheehi slandered the students to other faculty members, claiming they were racists. 

Lara Sheehi also spreads her vile bigotry on social media, tweeting antisemitic statements such as "Destroy Zionism and commit to land back, then we’ll take you seriously you f*cking genocidal f*cks. F*ck you," in response to an IDF tweet about Israel sending Lebanon aid after a massive chemical explosion in 2020.

In November, the brave Jewish students who came forward at GW were told faculty had voted to discipline them but were not made aware of their specific offenses. Instead, they were asked to describe what they believed they had done wrong, or else receive a "permanent negative mark" on their academic records. 

Sheehi, on the other hand, continues to teach and promote her brand of "liberation psychoanalysis" vilifying the Jewish people and nation.
