Many neo-Nazis blame the Jewish community, and groups such as the HIAS, for pushing for non-white immigrants to enter the United States.

The shooter behind the 2018 Pittsburgh Tree of Life Synagogue attack justified his attack due to the Jewish community’s perceived support of the HIAS, an organization that assists refugees was quoted as saying.
