West Hartford Police are investigating after several flyers from a neo-Nazi organization were found around town. The flyers from a group known as the New England Nationalist Social Club (NSC) were found in the Whitman Avenue, Fernridge Park, Walton Drive and Braeburn Road neighborhoods, West Hartford Police said.
The agency said it is “aware” of the flyers, and it is “working with our state and federal law enforcement partners on this matter.”
The group espouses antisemitic and racist rhetoric through the internet, and its members see themselves at war with “a hostile, Jewish-controlled system that is deliberately plotting the extinction of the white race.
A group of protesters connected with the group held a demonstration in Hartford on April 16th, holding up a banner that read “Defend White Lives”.
The group also recorded it’s involvement at the January 6, 2021 Capitol Hill riots as documented by watchdog group StopAntisemitism.
