Swastikas and White-Supremacist Graffiti Found at GOP Headquarters in Grand Rapids

The Kent County GOP headquarters was vandalized with spray-painted swastikas and white-supremacy graffiti.

The vandalism was reported Tuesday, Jan. 17, at the Gerald R. Ford Republican Headquarters at 725 Lake Michigan Drive NW. Graffiti covered all sour sides of the building.

It happened two months after a similar graffiti was spray-painted on Kent County Democratic Party headquarters at 301 Fuller Ave. NE.

Grand Rapids police were notified of the vandalism in an online report and are investigating.

The vandalism included white supremacist and antisemitic symbols and cross-hairs, all spray-painted in black. It included swastikas and the number 1488, which is a combination of white supremacist number symbols.
