Deranged California Man Breaks into Jewish Home Shouting "Free Palestine"

Wednesday marked a terrifying day for one Studio City family.

Officials with the Los Angeles Police Department said they received a call from the homeowner around 5:25 a.m. stating someone was inside their home, located near the intersection of Ventura and Laurel Canyon boulevards. The caller added they were locked in a room with four children after a man broke into their home

A short time later, the caller placed a second 911 call and informed authorities the suspect threatened to kill them because they were Israeli. The victims are Jewish, but it's unclear where they originated from.

The LAPD said the family was visibly shaken up. However, there were no physical injuries to the victims.

Officials at the scene believed the suspect may have been under the influence of drugs. He was dressed in his undergarments at the time of his arrest. As he was taken into custody, he was heard yelling, "free Palestine," over and over.

The name of the suspect has not been released and the investigation is ongoing.

"The vile act of hate that took place this morning has no place in our City. In the wake of the terror and violence inflicted over the previous weeks, this is one of the worst fears of Jewish families across our country – hatred spilling across the threshold, destroying the sense of safety and sanctuary in a home," Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass said in a statement.

The statement continued to say, "We remain steadfast in support of the Jewish people – the people of Los Angeles will not cower to hate. We will respond to it. The Los Angeles Police Department will continue to conduct increased patrols in communities throughout our City and I call on officials to take action to ensure the person responsible for this heinous act is held fully accountable. We will always stand together."

Knife-Wielding Teens Spew Antisemitic Threats at Children in Brooklyn

A group of children and their mothers playing in a Crown Heights park were threatened with a knife and murderous rhetoric Monday evening.

The incident took place at Sterling Place park, a park north of Eastern Parkway, when a group of approximately ten teenagers from a nearby housing project began hanging out nearby. Without provocation, the group began shouting antisemitic and threatening rhetoric at the children on the playground.

Seeing this, one of the mothers called Crown Heights Shomrim to report the incident, noting to the Shomrim dispatcher that one of the group was brandishing a knife, swiping and stabbing threateningly as he continued to curse and threaten to kill Jews.

Within moments multiple Crown Heights Shomrim volunteers arrived at the park, documenting the threatening teens and following them as they headed back towards the housing projects.

Police officers from the 77th Precinct also arrived within moments, and recognizing the severity of the situation, notified the highest level of authority in the precinct.

Unfortunately, as the teens had not been close enough to clearly identify, the officers were unable to make an arrest at the time, instead identifying into which building the teens had gone and sending the incident to Hate Crimes Detectives to investigate.

Several Mezuzahs Stolen and 'Free Palestine' Graffiti Plaster Jewish Homes in Toronto

Toronto police say they are investigating antisemitic graffiti reported in the city, a mezuzah that was stolen, and suspects banging on a door “making hateful remarks.”

Police said one incident happened on Oct. 21 in the Steeles and Dufferin streets area. A resident had reported their mezuzah was stolen, police said. A mezuzah is a small scroll that Jewish people put on the doorframe of their homes.

On Oct. 18, police said they received another report of suspects banging on their door and making hateful remarks. The incident happened near Wilmington and Sheppard avenues.

Police said the investigation is ongoing. No suspect descriptions have been released.

The force also said officers are also aware of graffiti in multiple locations across Toronto.

“I can confirm there are reports on file and they are being investigated,” a Toronto police spokesperson told Global News. Police are encouraging any residents to report any hate-motivated incidents to them.

Meanwhile, the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) called the incidents “disgusting.”

“There is no community in this city that should have to face this kind of harassment and intimidation that has been levelled at the Jewish community over the last two weeks,” said Jaime Kirzner-Roberts, the vice-president for CIJA in the Greater Toronto Area.

The City of Toronto told Global News it is “actively exploring steps to remove this hateful graffiti, as there is no space for hate in Toronto.”

DC Driver Goes on Antisemitic Tirade Against Jewish Bikers

A road rage video went viral on Wednesday showing a driver going on a shockingly antisemitic tirade against a woman riding her bike with a child.

The clip was posted on X, formerly Twitter, by the @DCTrikeMom account. Apparently taken in Washington D.C., the film shows a man having a dispute with the woman filming and asking him to stay out of the bike lane.

“I don’t care what you’re asking! I don’t got to comply with you,” the man told the biker. When the biker retorted it wasn’t safe for her to bike around him, he told her “I don’t give a f*ck about your safety. Your life is none of my concern.”

That’s when things took a turn for the antisemitic:

DRIVER: You a Jew?

BIKER: I am in fact.

DRIVER: (Laughter) I knew it! I knew you was a Jew! (Laughter) You people are the devil. Now we go. I knew it! You are the devil!

She said she’s currently withholding the picture she took of the man’s license plate, and she rejected calls to doxx the man.

Jewish Ice Cream Parlor in San Francisco Vandalized with 'Free Palestine' Graffiti

Residents walking down Valencia Street between 20th and Liberty streets stopped in their tracks this morning, to see Smitten Ice Cream’s storefront smashed to pieces, and the one remaining front window covered in graffiti: “FREE PALESTIEN,” it read, with the second word misspelled.

The other windows and two doors were covered in plastic, and shards of glass were visible on the pavement, as well as inside the shop.

Smitten Ice Cream has been a local favorite for years. The store’s founder, Robyn Sue Fisher, who is Jewish, began selling homemade ice cream from a cart around San Francisco and later opened stores in San Francisco and San Jose. The location on Valencia Street opened in 2017.

A spokesperson from the police department wrote that at 2:49 a.m., officers from Mission Station responded to an alarm activation at the store, and arrived to find shattered front windows.

“When they met with the victim, they were able to determine that the business had been vandalized for unknown reasons,” the police said in a statement. No arrests have been made at this time.

It is not clear whether anything was stolen during the incident, nor is it clear whether the vandalism and defacement will be investigated as a hate crime.

Fisher could not be immediately contacted for comment. A manager at the store declined to speak about the incident.

White Supremacists Host Protest Outside Montana Synagogue

A rally outside a Missoula synagogue on Saturday left some Missoula residents upset and members of the Jewish community concerned.

Clad in sunglasses and bandanas to hide their faces, a small group of white supremacists and Neo Nazis gathered outside Har Shalom on South Brooks, carrying signs reading “Diversity = White Genocide” and “Refugees Not Welcome.”

The group included members of the National Socialist Movement, according to the Montana Human Rights Network. At least one member of the group was arrested on Saturday after the rally moved downtown.

“We are all aware that attacks on Jews around the world have stepped up since October 7,” the Zootown Jews stated in an email. “We have heard of at least one recent incident in Missoula in which a Jewish man was accosted and subjected to a very frightening anti-semantic rant by a stranger.”

Later in the afternoon, the rally moved downtown near the county courthouse, where a separate rally was taking place. The two rallies occurred peacefully until one member of the white supremacist group demonstrated what the Missoula Police Department described as “a concerning escalation in the behavior.”

“The individual's words and actions were deemed to have crossed the line from protected freedom of speech to potentially constituting disorderly conduct,” a police spokesperson said in a statement on Monday. “After multiple verbal warnings from the lieutenant, the male did not comply.”

The 46-year-old male was arrested and taken into custody without incident. He has since been cited and released.

“The City of Missoula Police Department remains committed to upholding the rights of individuals to express their opinions and engage in peaceful protests, while also ensuring public safety and enforcing the law when necessary.”

Florida Man Hurls Antisemitic Threats Outside Synagogue

Police are investigating after they said a man hurled profanities at Jewish people outside of synagogues in Hallandale Beach and Hollywood, the latest in a string of incidents that have raised concerns in South Florida’s Jewish community.

Local 10 News obtained exclusive video surveillance of a man telling Jewish people to “F--- off” when they asked him to stop video recording their children, according to investigators.

Local 10 News spoke with Hallandale Beach Vice Mayor Anabelle Lima-Taub Monday, who said that the culprit has been seen yelling profanities at Jewish people in her city.

Four California Jewish Students Endure Antisemitic Death Threats

Parents of at least four Jewish students at Manhattan Beach Middle School say their children have been the targets of verbal attacks by the same student in the days after Hamas attacked Israel.

One mother, who spoke to NBC4 off camera out of fear for her safety, alleges the student in question told her child that she wanted to “kill all Jews.” In addition to the violent statement, the student said Israel “deserved it” and that she “believes in revenge.”

“Not all of them knew exactly what took place and here they were being verbally attacked both in class and outside of class because they were wearing a Jewish star, or because they were wearing a t-shirt that they got on a trip to Israel,” Rabbi Joshua Kalev said of the disturbing incident.

In the wake of the allegations, the Manhattan Beach Unified School District said it doesn’t tolerate any form of antisemitism and that this situation was thoroughly investigated. However, student privacy laws prevent the district from disclosing the results of the investigation. It did say that “appropriate consequences have been administered.”

The mother who spoke with NBC4 said the district closed its investigation after they determined the student’s words were “political,” not hateful.

“They are young Jewish girls who were sought out at lunch, and to me, there’s nothing political about that, that is hate,” Rabbi Kalev said.

Additionally, the student’s mother said she was sent a document requesting her child’s signature saying they will “not discuss this incident with any other students. I further understand that any contact or continuation of this incident by telling other students will lead to further consequences.”

The district said the purpose of the letter is to avoid re-igniting situations they are trying to resolve, but it is now updating language on the contract to eliminate confusion down the road.

“These four girls did nothing, they were just being themselves,” Kalev said. “As Jews, as Jewish people. Sitting at lunch, sitting in class so to reprimand them, seem extremely unjust.”

Flyers of Israeli Hostages Defaced with "Free Palestine" at New Jersey Train Station

Westfield Police Chief Christpher Battiloro posted a response on Facebook Monday after fliers showing Israelis kidnapped by Hamas at the Westfield train station were defaced with slogans including “Free Palestine” and “End the Occupation.”

“The Westfield Police Department is in receipt of numerous reports regarding materials posted at the train station this morning, some of which were defaced with handwritten comments perceived by many to be threatening towards the Jewish community,” Battiloro wrote. “This incident is being reviewed for criminality.

“We observe an absolute zero tolerance policy for any and all forms bias and will thoroughly investigate any reported bias incidents,” he continued.

“We will refer all identified perpetrators to the Union County Prosecutor’s Office for criminal complaint approval and seek to prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.

“Please know, the safety and security of this community and its people — all people — is and always will be our paramount concern,” he said.

On Monday morning, Batilloro met with members of the Westfield Ministry Association to prepare for a prayer service for peace in Israel and Gaza that is planned for Tuesday night for at Saint Helen’s Church, he wrote.

The service for all faiths is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., according to an announcement by Mayor Shelley Brindle.

“Our officers will do their very best to make sure that everyone feels safe and secure here. We will continue to maintain a highly visible police presence in the community — at our schools, our houses of worship, at public gatherings, and elsewhere to ensure such,” Battiloro wrote.

“These are stressful and scary times for all of us. Please do not hesitate to reach out to the police if you need us. We are here for you.”

Antisemitic 'Blackshirt' Flyers Discovered in California Neighborhoods

Some San Luis Obispo residents found ziploc bags with an antisemitic hate speech flyers and a handful of rocks in their front yards.

One resident who received the message on her driveway said she reported the incident to the San Luis Obispo Police Department.

Various houses in the neighborhood received the hate note.

The police department did not want to comment on the matter, but they did say they are keeping track of the homes that are receiving these hate flyers.

With the recent Israel-Hamas conflict, there has been a rise in antisemitic speech in the U.S. and on now on the Central Coast.

Long Island Synagogue Burglarized

Three burglars stole a camera and cash from a Long Island temple Saturday, police said.

The thieves used an unlocked door to get into the Temple Gates of Zion at 322 North Corona Ave. in Valley Stream at around 5:30 p.m., according to the Nassau County Police Department. The trio damaged the security system’s camera before taking a Cannon camera and an unknown amount of money, police said.

The suspects then ran from the scene and remained at large, as of Monday, police said.

Three Teens with Links to ISIS Arrested for Plotting Attack on Israeli Embassy in Paris

French intelligence services have thwarted a terrorist cell that was planning attacks against the Jewish community, according to information reported Saturday by Le Parisien.

Made up of young adults, of various nationalities, connected by encrypted messaging and video games, the cell is notably suspected of having planned an attack against an Israeli embassy, in particular the one located near Brussels.

“This cell had a clear desire for international recognition and the objective of being dubbed by the Islamic State (IS), notes the DGSI in a report. (…) Wishing to kill civilians residing in the West, its hatred was directed towards the Jewish community."

In conversations found on messaging services, the group reported its action plan, consisting first of "shooting down and slaughtering" the police officers on duty in front of the Israeli embassy, then dropping a van full of explosives against the site, before executing the surviving civilians.

“We must not forget that our goal is to terrorize them, there must be as much blood as possible,” wrote a French teenager. “And our target is the Jews. Killing only police officers is not effective. They know they can die in their work. But the people who work there think they live in security.”

Four suspects were arrested in France and Belgium. Three were indicted in Paris by an anti-terrorism judge for “criminal terrorist association” on August 31 and September 8. They are a 15-year-old Frenchman and two 16-year-old Russians of Chechen and Ingush origins. The last, a 16-year-old Belgian, was indicted for terrorism in Brussels.

California Professor Calls Upon American Progressives to "Kill the Jewish Nation"

An associate professor at the University of California Santa Barbara claimed during a recent speech that the Israeli Defense Forces fighting Hamas terrorists is akin to police officers "murdering" George Floyd. He called Israel a "white supremacist Zionist project" and issued a chilling call to action; American progressives must kill the Jewish nation.

Bilal Ware, also known as "Butch," who teaches African studies in the university's history department, made the controversial comments on Tuesday at a Santa Barbara mosque where he gave a discussion titled, "Sunnah of Struggle - Black and Palestinian Liberation from Islamic Perspective."

Ware called on progressives to stand united in the liberation of Palestinians, claiming that they are being held captive under a Zionist oppressive regime, and compared the situation to police brutality in America. He referred to Israel as "the beast" and said the nation needs to be "stabbed in the heart."

"When Big Floyd got choked out, I saw something that I had also never seen. I had never seen protests against police brutality and the carceral state, wherein black folks were outnumbered by white folks five to one. That is a massive change and it's a massive transformation...They are running scared," Ware said, according to video.

Ware told the audience that the public support for Palestine has "dramatically shifted" in the past ten years and will continue down that route as the world comes together to defeat "Zionist white supremacy."

"I think that it is absolutely inevitable that the liberation of Palestinians will become an absolutely central tenet of all progressive thought in America within the next. And it's the reason why I'm trying to get us to apply sustained pressure on both fronts. Because if we would understand the fronts as connected and as ultimately foundational in slaying the beast, right? Don't cut off each of the tentacles, stab it in the heart. Then that takes out all of the tentacles," Ware said, according to video.

In addition to the discussion Ware gave at the mosque, the associate professor has a history of anti-Semitic posts on Instagram which include calling for the genocide of Jews. He proclaimed that eradicating Israel is a fight against white supremacy. His Instagram account is under the username "butchware."

On the day after Hamas terrorists invaded Israel at daybreak and brutally massacred more than 1400 Israeli civilian men, women, and children, Ware was quick to post his support for the Palestinians before Israel had even retaliated or declared war on Hamas.

"Zionism is white supremacy," Ware wrote on Instagram.

"Palestinians don't have a Zionism problem," read another post. "Black folks don't have a carceral state problem. Brown people don't have an immigration problem. First nations don't have a genocide problem. We all have a white supremacy problem."

In a separate post, Ware stated that fighting the Israeli Defense Forces is a fight against a "white supremacist settler state" and referred to minorities supporting Israel's right to exist as "uncle tom[s]."

"It is terrifying that people are unable to see this fascist propaganda machine for what it is: a vast media campaign writing a blank check for what is about to come - the escalation of the already merciless slaughter and oppression of Palestinians," he said. "The absurd chronologies which date this 'war' in days, weeks or even years, rather than the 3/4 century of brutal dispossession serve one function: To normalize the fascist, ethno-nationalist, apartheid settler state that is Israel."

"The effort to conflate a critique of Zionism with anti-semitism is perhaps the most intellectually dishonest component of this media farce. There are MANY, MANY, MANY anti-Zionist Jews. The reason for that is that Judaism remains an endlessly fertile religious tradition for those that seek resources for resisting evil," Ware continued. "Zionism has defaced Judaism more than any modern sociopolitical movement since WWII. And it is no surprise that the Axis of Empire which stole Palestine to make Israel continues to support this white supremacist settler state."

"It is especially sad to see the Black complicity in this. These uncle tom, uncle ruckus, house negroes that shill for Israel should really be ashamed of themselves. Any thinking Black person should immediately recognize the dehumanizing slander being marshaled against Palestinian resistors," the professor added.

Florida Neighborhood Defaced with Violent Antisemitic Messages

Residents of a Cooper City neighborhood said they were disturbed to find messages of hate in their community, and now they want to know who’s behind them.

The antisemitic messages were initially discovered in the gated community Monterra on Saturday morning.

“Two writings on the cement walkway, as well as one on a bench,” said Avi Fishman, president of the neighborhood’s homeowners association. “We’re not used to this. This is a beautiful community, great neighbors, good people and this was truly a shock to all of us.”

Fishman shared several pictures of the disturbing graffiti with 7News on Sunday.

“Homeowners are very concerned about this. Not only Jewish homeowners, but all homeowners,” he said. “People are truly outraged that this happened.”

One of the messages reads, “I am Muslim, and say: kill all Jews.” Another reads, “By Allah, free Gaza, kill all Jews.”

The three messages were written at a time when tensions are high, as war rages on in the Middle East between Israel and Hamas.

“We immediately notified the authorities,” said Fishman. “As a community, we’ve also hired additional resources to reassure our homeowners that they will be safe.”

At this point, it’s unclear who wrote the graffiti, and the hateful words have been removed.

“It’s very unfortunate that our kids do have to walk around with more safety, you know it’s 2023. Kids have to come to our Hebrew schools or synagogues and see an armed guard and it’s really sad,” said Rabbi Adi Goodman, who also had a message for whoever did this heinous act.

“I would be more than glad to come and sit and have a talk with you,” he said. “[To] show you and ask you, what is it that’s really bothering you, that you feel the need to write such hatred in such a beautiful community.”

“Jews around the world are being attacked,” said Maor Elbaz Starinsky, consul general of Israel to Miami. “We have to go through this as a community, not only as Jewish community, not only as Jewish people, as a community to fight, to fight Hamas, to fight the terrorists, to fight the antisemites.

Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis condemned the hateful act.

“What’s frustrating for me as a mayor is that a lot of the events that are occurring in my community are a result of things that have happening somewhere else in the world,” he said. “I cannot control what’s happening in the Middle East, yet the impact is being felt her locally.”

To combat the hate, the City of Fort Lauderdale will host a mayor’s summit against antisemitism.

“It’s about conversation, it’s about trying to appreciate one another and listen and see how we can move this community forward,” Trantalis said.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office is investigating this incident.

Michigan State Suspends Employee After Hitler is Projected on Jumbotron

Michigan State athletic director Alan Haller said he has suspended an employee involved in allowing Adolf Hitler’s image to be shown on videoboards before playing No. 2 Michigan.

The employee, who was not named, will be paid pending an investigation that will help to determine potential action in the future. Haller said no one in the department viewed the entire video, exposing a failure in its process.

“Antisemitism must be denounced,” Haller said in a statement Sunday Night. “The image displayed prior to Saturday night’s game is not representative of who we are and the culture we embody. Nevertheless, we must own our failures and accept responsibility.

The creator and producer of The Quiz Channel on YouTube, which includes Hitler’s image as part of a quiz, said the school didn’t ask for permission to use his content or pay him for it and defended his decision to include the question on his platform.

NYC Parents Demand Removal of Teacher who Praised Hamas

A New York City teacher is back with a vengeance, publicly defending his pro-Hamas, anti-Israel views on X after sparking viral outrage and parent demands for his removal.

“I stand by everything I said in the same way I continue to stand by the oppressed people whenever I encounter them,” Gotham Tech High School teacher Mohammad Jehad Ahmad posted on X Saturday.

“Free Palestine from so-called ‘Israeli’ oppression and active genocide.”

After the Post was first to report his inflammatory comments, Ahmad told the World Socialist Web Site on Tuesday, “I think that they needed to paint the boogeyman in the education system, and so they picked me.”

“I think it’s also meant to silence me,” he said.

Last week, Ahmad made headlines when he bashed Israel as a terrorist state and called schools Chancellor David Banks a “white supremacist, imperialist scumbag” for his statement condemning the horrific terror attacks by Hamas on Oct. 7.

He doubled down on his views when reached by The Post, and then told Fox News that the terrorist attack was “a successful military campaign.”

Ahmad previously claimed the Gotham Tech principal has been “supportive” and he does not fear for his job. He said he has become a “punching bag” in what the socialist site called a right-wing witch-hunt against the “Palestinian educator.”

On Saturday, Ahmad claimed on X that he has received death threats from “hateful white people” but boasted, “I’m protected by the UFT and my rights as an American to speak out against injustice …”

He also thanked “family, friends, peers, students, colleagues, and Union representatives (but not the UFT at large) who reached out to support me.”

An homage to the Hamas terrorists who parachuted into an Israeli music festival and slaughtered more than 260 people was previously displayed on his Facebook page but has since been changed to simply say, “I stand with Palestine.”

Parents have complained to school leaders, saying the issue has drawn negative attention to the Long Island City school, and some are pleading for their kids to be removed from his class.

“Kids are already affected by his poison,” Gotham Tech parent Karla Rodriquez said at a PTA meeting on Thursday. “He applauds terrorism and violence.”

Rodriguez said parents feel disrespected and dismissed by the school’s silence on the issue. Questions poured into the Zoom chat but principal Cherylann Gill and PTA president Karla Jacome ignored them until the very end.

Linda Quarles, a member of the Citywide Council on High Schools, said the advisory group has received over a dozen inquiries from current Gotham Tech parents, prospective parents and concerned citizens expressing concern, offense and calls for Ahmad’s immediate termination.

During the meeting, Jacome — who was unfamiliar with the CCHS — questioned Quarles’ legitimacy and participation since she is not the parent of a child at the school, and muted her. Jacome then abruptly ended the Zoom call when she realized New York Post reporters were listening in.

PTA meetings are required to be advertised in advance and open to the public, according to Chancellor’s Regulations and New York State law.

The school refused to discuss Ahmad, citing an ongoing investigation, according to Jacome. A town hall meeting will be held once more information is available, she added.

Ahmad is not listed on Gotham Tech’s website as a staff member.

A City Hall spokesperson would not comment on Ahmad’s status, calling it an “internal personnel matter,” but stated, “As with all New York City public schools and districts, we continue to provide support and guidance to the school involved here. Hateful or violent rhetoric has no place in our school system.”

Major Banking Company Fires Employee For Praising Terror Attack Against Israelis

Citi has fired one of its personal bankers after she defended Hitler and the holocaust in a vile antisemitic post following the Hamas terror attacks.

CUNY Brooklyn College graduate Nozima Husainova, 25, sparked outrage with the remark which she posted on her now-deleted Instagram page and she's since lost her job, the bank confirmed Thursday.

Responding to a post about the Gaza hospital bombing that Israel has denied, she wrote: 'No wonder why Hitler wanted to get rid of them all,' complete with a smiley face emoji. Jewish organization highlighted these incidents on Twitter.

Hello, World!

A spokesman for Citi branded Husainova's comments as 'revolting' and said hate speech would not be tolerated in their bank.

'We terminated the employment of the person who made the revolting antisemitic comment on social media. We condemn antisemitism and all hate speech and do not tolerate it in our bank,' a spokesman told DailyMail.com.

'We are investigating this matter and taking appropriate disciplinary action, We strongly condemn antisemitism and other hate speech,' the bank said in a tweet.

Husainova majored in finance in June 2021 after five years at the college in New York's Bedford Avenue.

Her now-deleted LinkedIn profile suggests she is in her second year with the Wall Street bank whose parent company Citigroup employs 240,000 people across the world.

Nashville Clinical Student Makes Public Defense of Hamas

A Vanderbilt University (VU) clinical fellow recently took to Instagram to defend Hamas.

Ayesha Khan, a clinical fellow of microbiology at VU, is known as “wokescientist” on Instagram and describes herself as “an Afro-Indian, nonbinary (any pronouns), queer, Hindu-Muslim-Animist, divergent artist, mentor, meme creator, lover and community caregiver” who “guides people in their journey to cope with and divest from capitalist/ colonial systems.”

On Oct. 8, 2023, Khan posted a ten-page infographic on Instagram. “The Palestinian people are resisting 75 years of settler colonialism, genocide, ethnic cleansing, apartheid & a violent, brutal military occupation,” the infographic began. “This is what decolonization looks like. This is what a revolution takes. This is what land defense means.”

The post showed a graphic of three people parachuting, one of the parachutes bearing the image of a Palestinian flag. This is a reference to Hamas’ Oct. 7 manner of attack on Israeli civilians attending a music festival.

“If you care about social justice, equity, liberation in any form– then support the Palestinian push for total liberation by any means necessary,” the post continued. “The oppressed deserve to resist their oppressors by any means necessary.”

“Quite frankly, the opinions of privileged people who don’t have to experience the brutality that Palestinians are faced with… don’t matter. But I assure you, this is what you would [do] if you were in their shoes,” the post went on to say. “The real violence is the settler colonial state of Israel - how it was created & the ongoing genocide that it engages in to continue to maintain its power.”

“For the more privileged, watching death and destruction on the news might irk you. It might feel more ‘moral’ to condemn it without any context. But that is because your privilege has shielded you from such over [sic] violence that Palestinians have been fighting for 75 years.”

Since that post, Khan has created seven more Instagram posts supporting Hamas, including one in which she promoted an “All Out For Palestine” rally and another in which she instructed protesters to “[w]ear a mask, for both health and anonymity.”

On her website, Khan expresses her support for “police & prison abolition, Palestinian liberation, South Asian minority rights, land stewardship, and building local autonomous community-based food and healthcare systems.”

She has also called to remove the stigma from suicide, stating that “[s]uicide is caused by oppressive systems & also isn’t a mental disorder or an immoral, irrational choice.” She additionally offers workshops, including one titled “Unlearn, Divest From & Cope With Capitalism,” for $75, now at a discounted price of $45.

Campus Reform has reached out to VU for comment and will update accordingly.
