El Paso police are investigating a rash of swastika graffiti that hit a Northeast neighborhood, a police spokesman said Thursday.

Red and gold-colored swastikas were spray-painted on parked vehicles, garage doors, houses and signs, according to photos shared on Facebook.

The vandalism occurred early Wednesday in the area of Titanic Avenue and El Morro Road in the Mountain Park neighborhood uphill from Magnetic Street, police said.

The vandalism occurred as El Paso County is under a stay-at-home order intended to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Anyone with information on the vandals may call the police non-emergency number at 832-4400 or may anonymously call Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 566-8477 or leave a tip online at crimestoppersofelpaso.org.
