Nazi Swastika and Chinese Flags with 'COVID-19' Flown in Melbourne, Australia

Chinese and Nazi swastika flags have been flown from a communications tower as part of an alleged racial attack. The flags were seen on the Telstra phone tower on Bradley Street in Kyabram, north of Melbourne, on Sunday.

The words #COVID-19 had been written on one of the Chinese flags.  It is believed the flags were planted on the tower some time between 12am and 6am on Sunday.

It is the latest incident targeting the Asian community amid the coronavirus pandemic. The government has since cracked down on anti-social behaviour. Pretending to cough on someone causing them to fear they may have COVID-19 is now a criminal offence.
