Bomb Threat Left on Voicemail at Virginia Synagogue

A bomb threat was left on the voicemail of the Jewish Temple of Congregation Ner Shalom in Woodbridge Friday evening, according to the Prince William County Police Department.

At about 6:15 p.m. Friday, Prince William County police officers went to the synagogue, at 14010 Spriggs Rd. in Woodbridge, to investigate the threatening message. The police reported that a message was left on the synagogue's voicemail that included "inappropriate language and the threat of a bomb."

A police K-9 searched the area for any bombs but not find any. The police said they are continuing to investigate the bomb threat, although they said it "appears to be isolated to this place of worship."
