Graffiti with what appears to be a swastika symbol is being investigated by Sandy police after it was discovered at Dimple Dell Park Saturday.

Sgt. Clayton Swenson with Sandy police said the building is owned by the county and has been vacant for years.

Swenson said the graffiti appears to be older and there were no fresh tracks nearby when police went to the scene. It's unknown who painted the graffiti or when the vandalism took place.

There is an abandoned building at Dimple Dell Park, which is owned by Salt Lake County. Officers responded and found some graffiti that was unintelligible including graffiti that looked like a swastika.

Utah Gov. Spencer Cox signed the Concurrent Resolution on Holocaust Education, a resolution passed by the Utah Legislature that encourages schools to teach kids about the Holocaust and genocide education.
