Universal Orlando Bans Riders for Life because of Nazi Salute on Ride
An image showing people doing a Nazi salute while on a ride at Universal Orlando made the rounds on social media. The picture shows four people flashing the salute and the "OK" hand sign, which has been linked to white supremacy, NBC affiliate WESH reported.
Officials said the photo was removed from the park's Facebook page as soon as they became aware of it.
"Hate has no place here, and we have no tolerance for any display of hatred within our destination," Universal Orlando said in a statement. "We stand for diversity, inclusion and respect. This photo is appalling and we pulled it from our Facebook page as soon as we became aware of it. Any guest using hate speech or displaying hate symbols will be immediately and permanently removed from our destination."
