Police are looking for the person or persons responsible for spreading anti-semitic flyers around Queens. Police say they were first discovered Wednesday near the Halsey Street subway station in Ridgewood.

The flyers depict the top of a person's head wearing a Star of David kippah with bold wording that reads "Worthless F---ing Cancer Filled Jew". According to investigators, a man came into the 104th precinct to report the flyer.

They say a few dozen were scattered throughout the neighborhood. The NYPD hate crimes task force has been notified and the investigation is ongoing.

StopAntisemitism.org reached out to the NY’s 7th District’s Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez’s office for comment regarding the incident and a staffer (Rachel) stated they “are deeply disturbed by it”.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website at or on Twitter @NYPDTips.
