A Jewish man was threatened by a man making antisemitic remarks on a Brooklyn street this week, police said Friday as they released surveillance video of a suspect.
The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident, which happened in front of 432 Rutland Rd. in East Flatbush on Thursday morning. The address is listed as a yeshiva.

Police said the 30-year-old victim was outside the school when a man came up and made threats and antisemitic statements to him around 10:15 a.m. No injuries were reported, according to police.
The suspect was last seen walking along Rutland Road towards Brooklyn Avenue, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
Late last month, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said state police would ramp up patrols outside synagogues and in Jewish neighborhoods after a spate of anti-Semitic attacks. Jewish schools and religious facilities in New York City, on Long Island and in Westchester, Rockland and Orange counties would see increased patrols, the governor said.
