Columbus Ohio Synagogue Vandalized with Rocks

Congregation Ahavas Sholom in Bexley issued a news release Nov. 4 th that its synagogue suffered damage from rocks thrown at the building earlier in the day. Thankfully no one was injured.

According to the release, one rock damaged the glass covering of one of the stained glass windows and another rock shattered a glass office door. The synagogue reported that protective film on the door prevented any glass from falling inside or allowing anyone inside.

Both a Bexley police officer and a Columbus Division of Police anti-terrorism detective inspected the damage, the release added. While there is no indication yet whether this was vandalism or antisemitism, the police said there was no need for alarm.
