Mahmoud Abbas

Mahmoud Abbas, the 87-year-old President of the Palestinian National Authority, is currently in his 18th year of his four-year term. Abbas, also known as Abu Mazen, assumed office in 2005 following the death of Yasser Arafat, who recruited Abbas to join the Fatah party back in the 1950s. Fatah is one of two major parties that rule over the Palestinian people, the other being Hamas. Like Hamas, Fatah is a corrupt terror movement where funds and humanitarian aid that were designed for the Palestinian people are instead used to line the pockets of the members of the Palestinian government.

Palestinian President Yasser Arafat (Left) and Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas (Right)

Mahmoud Abbas has a long and atrocious history of antisemitism. His dissertation for his doctorate in history at the Moscow Institute of Orientalism in 1982 was titled "The Secret Relationship between Nazism and the Zionist Movement" and included a passage casting doubt on the accuracy of the six million Jewish Holocaust victims figure for "Zionist" gain. Abbas would continue these antisemitic conspiracies several more times.

In 2016, he had to retract statements in his speech to the Parliament of European Union where he suggested that rabbis were poisoning Palestinian water. He clarified that he did not intend to offend Jews, but he only walked back the claim after Israel and Jewish organizations accused him of promoting antisemitic blood libels that have been used for centuries to wage violence against the Jewish people.

Palestinian President Abbas falsely claims in front of the EU Parliament that Israeli Rabbis poison Palestinian wells

In 2018, Mahmoud Abbas was forced to apologize for suggesting that the historic persecution of European Jews was linked to their conduct, not their religion. His statements were drawn from various books and claims that antisemitism stemmed from Jewish involvement in usury and banking, including his own dissertation on Holocaust denial.

In 2022, during the 50th anniversary of the Munich Olympics, a journalist asked Abbas if he would apologize for the tragic events of 1972 when Palestinian gunmen – affiliated with Fatah – took the Israeli team hostage and brutally murdered 11 Israeli athletes and coaches, and a West German policeman; Abbas refused. In fact, the autobiography of the late Mohammed Oudeh, better known as Abu Daoud, named Abbas as one of the three senior officials of Fatah who assisted Daoud in planning the Munich massacre.

Earlier this month, Abbas once again expressed antisemitic comments in front of a national audience. He exhibited denial of the Holocaust's historical reality and made remarks about the Jewish experience being linked to their historic role as money lenders rather than out of Hitler’s animosity toward the Jewish people.

“These people [Jews] were fought because of their social function related to money, usury,” Abbas said in the speech. “From Hitler’s point of view, they were sabotaging, and therefore he hated them.”

During the same speech, he revived a dangerous conspiracy theory often used by white supremacists that European Ashkenazi Jews were not descended from ancient Israelites but rather from 8th-century converts among the Khazars, a nomadic Turkic people. He contended that European Jews murdered under Hitler were not Semitic people.

Abbas's consistent failure to commit to a genuine and lasting peace with Israel and his ongoing antisemitic rants, which include perpetuating blood libels and engaging in Holocaust denial, further demonstrate a troubling pattern of rhetoric that undermines the prospects for reconciliation or the possibility of a two-state solution in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. While the path to peace is fraught with challenges and complexities, it is clear that Abbas must demonstrate a genuine commitment to dialogue, recognition of Israel’s sovereignty, and a shared vision for a peaceful coexistence. As of now, Abbas's words and actions fall far short of such a commitment and hinder progress toward a just and lasting resolution to this enduring conflict.

Omar Toppin

Omar Andres Toppin Sr., a resident of Charlotte, North Carolina, has gained notoriety for his affiliation with the Black Hebrew Israelites (BHI), a fringe religious hate group known for its extremist rhetoric and promotion of antisemitic beliefs. The BHI movement espouses the false notion that Black Americans are the true descendants of the biblical Israelites while portraying modern-day Jews as impostors who have stolen the religious heritage of Black people.

BHI's rejection of accepted definitions of Judaism has led to real-world violence, such as the Jersey City shootings at JC Kosher Supermarket, where two BHI members killed a police officer and three civilians in a gun battle. Toppin believes that the deadly shooting was a false flag operation.

Toppin's public statements and social media activity have raised significant concerns about his antisemitic views. On October 8, 2020, he tweeted the phrase "The respect that the Synagogue of Satan receives.....🕍," a well-known antisemitic trope pushed by Jew-hating Louis Farrakhan, stemming from a misquoted verse in Book of Revelation. This phrase is often used by BHI members to delegitimize the Jewish faith and lay claim to being the "real" Jews.

In a September 29, 2020 tweet, Toppin suggested a conspiracy theory linking the Rothschild family to the idea that "Jews control the world's money supply." Such baseless accusations have fueled antisemitic sentiments for centuries.

Toppin also promoted the "Khazar myth," which falsely claims that the Jews of today are not descended from the ancient Israelites but from the Khazar people. This myth has been widely discredited by historians and is used to deny Jews' historical connection to the Land of Israel.

Toppin has made derogatory comments about Jews in the music industry, insinuating that they control it for nefarious purposes. He falsely claimed that the Holocaust and the transatlantic slave trade were linked, citing exaggerated death tolls and implying that reparations should be sought for the latter. These views are rooted in conspiracy theories and have been debunked by credible historians, including Eli Faber, who refuted the claims made in the Nation of Islam's book "The Secret Relationship between Blacks and Jews." Toppin once again perpetuates the false idea that government-run agencies are controlled by so-called Khazar Jews. Furthermore, Toppin has engaged in Holocaust denial, a deeply offensive and historically inaccurate stance.

Furthermore, Toppin has engaged in Holocaust denial, a deeply offensive and historically inaccurate stance. He questioned the authenticity of the Holocaust, even going so far as to cast doubt on the number of Jewish victims and implying that it was exaggerated or fabricated.

As of April 2023, Toppin shared he is a billing administrator at Rentokil Terminix pest control. What can YOU do to help? Email Rentokil Terminix to demand investigative action in his possible employment, as their Jewish customers should not be subjected to rabid Jew-haters like Omar Toppin.

Jason Brown

Florida resident Jason Brown is a prominent figure within the white supremacist organization Goyim Defense League (GDL). His personal history is muddied with instances of hostility, threats, and confrontations towards Jewish communities across the country. Brown is often found in tandem with GDL founder, Jon Minadeo II, who considers Brown an indispensable asset to GDL's operations. The group is a neo-Nazi based network of individuals whose mission is to spread antisemitic bias about the Jewish people.

Photo: GDL leader Jon Minadeo II and Jason Brown ignite the Israeli flag on a swastika fire pit

As a member of GDL, Brown has engaged in a number of antisemitic campaigns. In 2021, he participated in the “Name the Nose” tour, which was designed to harass and mock Jewish individuals through a series of trolling and pranks. Brown has been filmed on multiple occasions engaging in acts of desecration towards the Israeli flag, including burning it, spitting on it, and dragging it on the ground with his foot. He is also the face behind the “Rise of the JEWnicorn” tour, where he dresses in a bright pink unicorn costume and parades across Florida beaches with a sign that states, "The Holocaust is As Fake as This Unicorn."

As of May 2023, Brown was awaiting trial in Florida on three charges: felony battery by strangulation, tamper in felony life, and contempt of court misdemeanor. On January 29, 2022, Brown, along with two others, were involved in an orchestrated and violent antisemitic incident during a National Socialist Movement (NSM) neo-Nazi rally in Orlando, Florida. The event was marred by Brown's chants of “No More Jews” and “White Power,” accompanied by Hitler salutes and signs displaying hateful messages such as “Jews Aren't White” and “It's Okay to be Antisemitic” – a stark illustration of bigotry. The trio physically attacked a Jewish student named David Newstat, who was punched, spat on, and pepper-sprayed after Brown took notice of Newstat’s Israeli flag license plate cover.

The following day, on January 30, 2022, the group raised Nazi flags and displayed banners over an Orlando freeway overpass, displaying offensive messages like “Vax the Jews” along with swastikas and references to the GDL website.

On February 4, 2022, the Orange County (Florida) Sheriff's Department arrested the three participants — Jason Brown, Joshua Terrell, and NSM's Burt Colucci — for their central roles in the antisemitic hate crime against David Newstat on January 29. All three were charged with battery along with a hate crime enhancement amplifying the gravity of the offense. Brown faced additional charges of grand theft for the act of stealing and destroying Newstat's cell phone. His bond was denied after a judge recognized his pending unrelated charges, underscoring the seriousness of his actions beyond the antisemitic rally incident.

On August 23, 2023, Jason Brown was arrested once again and charged with domestic battery, aggravated assault by strangulation, and felony tampering. This is Brown's second recorded instance of strangulation.

As an emblem of hatred and violence, Jason Brown's disturbing actions highlight the importance of combating hate speech and extremist ideologies in our communities. The ongoing efforts to bring him and his GDL accomplices to justice serve as a reminder that intolerance and bigotry have no place in our society. It is clear that national legislation is needed nationwide to combat bigots like GDL.

Nicholas Bysheim

Nicholas Alan Bysheim better known as “Jehu” is a 33-year-old male from Lusby, Maryland, and is currently traveling the country harassing Jewish communities alongside Jon Minadeo II and their white supremacist brotherhood, the Goyim Defense League (GDL). GDL members are collectively known for distributing thousands of antisemitic flyers throughout various neighborhoods nationwide and hanging banners along major highways that make mendacious claims about the Jewish people.

Nicholas Bysheim first appeared in the media during his arrest in November 2022 for littering antisemitic materials throughout a Rhode Island town. A few weeks later on New Year’s Eve, StopAntisemitism identified Bysheim as the accomplice of Jon Minadeo during a slew of anti-Jewish projections of buildings throughout the state of Florida. A swastika was projected onto a building in downtown Boca Raton; “Hitler was Right,” “The Holocaust Never Happened,” and “Vax the Jews” were projected onto buildings in Orlando. A week after these incidents, Bysheim was arrested for resisting an officer in Palm Beach after he was found littering antisemitic materials. When he failed to identify himself, Bysheim was taken into police custody.

In February 2023, Bysheim, Minadeo, and a dozen other members of the GDL harassed Jewish members attending Shabbat services in Orlando. The group hurled hundreds of antisemitic slurs and tropes as members arrived at the Chabad. Bysheim and others filmed themselves giving Hitler salutes and holding grotesque signs that falsely accused Israel and the Jewish people for societal issues.

On March 11, 2023, Bysheim and several other members of the GDL were cited in Palm Beach for littering antisemitic literature to dozens of homes in West Palm Beach. A few days later on March 18th, Bysheim was cited again when nearly 500 anti-Jewish leaflets were discovered throughout West Palm Beach neighborhoods. As he was harassing the arresting officers, he was filmed ranting the following antisemitic phrases:

  • “Why are your bosses allowed to suck baby penises?”

  • “Why is it in their Talmud that they are allowed to molest children?”

  • “All of your f**king Jew bosses are going to be ejected to f**king Israel and then Iran is going to nuke the sh*t out of it.

  • “Heil f**ing Hitler. White power.”

This ongoing unwarranted harassment against the Jewish people spurred legislators in Florida to introduce HB269. The bill would prohibit individuals from distributing materials onto private property with the intention of intimidating or threatening property owners, residents, or visitors, while also making it illegal to willfully and maliciously harass, threaten, or intimidate others based on their religious or ethnic heritage indicators. The bill will require that such violations be reported as hate crimes, will prevent the display or projection of images onto structures or property without permission, and will avert individuals who enter state university or Florida College System campuses with the intent to threaten or intimidate from remaining after receiving a warning to depart.

On April 28, 2023, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed HB259 into law making it a jailable offense if a violation occurs. On May 5, 2023, Bysheim was arrested in court after the State Attorney's office announced their intent to prosecute two misdemeanor charges against him. The charges stem from Bysheim's illegal dumping of antisemitic literature on private property in West Palm Beach, Florida while he was on bail for previous offenses. The State's Attorney's Office was seeking a punishment of 364 days in Palm Beach County Jail. Unfortunately, Judge Marni Bryson handed Bysheim a 12 month probation charge and he was released from police custody.

These ongoing hate crimes are a reminder to continue reporting all antisemitic acts or even warning signs by calling or texting StopAntisemitism at 877-411-HATE (4283) or submitting a report HERE because as we see once again what starts with Jewish people never ends with the Jewish people.

Aziza Zahran

Aziza Zahran is a child disability specialist in the state of New York who actively displays her antisemitism and extreme views toward Jews and Israel on her social media.

She has advocated for the death of Jews and the State of Israel, praised Hitler, compared Israel to Nazi Germany, and justified violence against Israelis. Zahran's online presence includes usernames like "IsisLayla2" on Twitter and "Isis Layla" on Facebook. Zahran is also a staunch supporter of the antisemitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement and has affiliations with the violent Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) group.

Examples of Zahran’s bigoted posts:

  • On November 16, 2012, Zahran tweeted: “I WISH HITLER WOULD HAVE FINISHED WHAT HE STARTED! IF HE ONLY KNEW WHAT SAVAGES THE JEWS WOULD BECOME!” She followed her tweet with the following response: “I DO NOT GIVE A SINGLE SH*T ABOUT WHO THEY JEWS WERE, THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE PALESTINIANS. #DEATH2ISRAEL&JEWS”

  • On November 17, 2012, Zahran tweeted: “Palestine will be free from the river to the sea, death to Israel death to Jews on judgment day you will lose.”

  • On November 17, 2012, Zahran tweeted: “The Jews don’t like #LouisFarrakhan, so they call him Hitler. Well, that's a good name, Hitler was a great man #LouisFarrakhan.” Louis Farrakhan is a former recipient of StopAntisemitism’s ‘Antisemite of the Week.’

  • On May 6, 2021, Zahran tweeted: “Are the #Jewish people the only people that can use the word #holocaust to describe the horrible human rights violations that #Nazis did to them? I'm using the word holocaust to describe the violations of human rights #Israel is doing to #Palestinians in #Gaza & all of #Palestine”

  • On May 10, 2021, Zahran tweeted: “Just to be clear. Israel is not a country or state, it's a colonialist imperialist power killing indigenous people to steal their land, Stop naming it. Stop validating it's (sic) existence #Israel cannot and we will not allow it to exist this way Boycott it. Disarm it…”

Encouraging the boycott of Israeli products, downplaying the events of the Holocaust, advocating violence against Jews, comparing Jews to Nazis, and calling for Israel's destruction all violate the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance's (IHRA) definition of antisemitism. These alarming and indefensible posts reveal a damaged character unfit to care for Jewish children.

As of June 2022, Zahran's LinkedIn profile indicated her role as a Care Manager at the Children’s Health Home of Catholic Charities of Onondaga County.

How can you help? Email the Children’s Health Home of Catholic Charities of Onondaga County and demand they terminate Aziza Zahran. Families should not be subjected to the hatred of a rabid antisemite, especially in a caregiving role.

Christopher Pohlhaus

Christopher Alan Pohlhaus, who calls himself "The Hammer," is an ex-Marine and neo-Nazi who leads the white nationalist group, the Blood Tribe. Based in Maine, Pohlhaus operates various Telegram channels notorious for disseminating genocidal and neo-Nazi content. He is heavily armed and openly associates with white supremacists in their mission to construct an ethno-state. He has also confessed to vandalizing numerous businesses with neo-Nazi materials.

The Blood Tribe is an extremist group operating through semi-autonomous branches in the U.S. and Canada, espousing aggressive white supremacist ideologies and openly targeting Jews, nonwhites, and the LGBTQ+ community. In 2020, the group hung dozens of white supremacist banners across the country and posted a photo of himself to social media of him stepping on the Israeli flag.

As his following expanded, Pohlhaus organized private white supremacist gatherings, evolving into formal Blood Tribe "membership ceremonies." In 2023, Blood Tribe members engaged in anti-LGBTQ+ protests, wearing uniforms and masks while displaying swastika flags, making Hitler salutes, and hurling racist and anti-LGBTQ+ insults.

Pohlhaus is also a well-known white supremacist tattoo artist who claimed a comfortable income from his work in San Antonio before relocating to Maine. In July 2022, in a now deleted thread, he posted a photo of a skull-and-bones tattoo he inked on two-time 'Antisemite of the Week' Jon Minadeo's arm. This skull-and-bones design, known as Totenkopf, was appropriated by the Nazis and is a popular symbol among white supremacist groups.

Pohlhaus has also allied with Denis Kapustin, a Russian neo-Nazi, violent rioter, and paramilitary leader. Kapustin appeared in a podcast with Pohlhaus and discussed his plans to establish a neo-Nazi pipeline of volunteer soldiers from the U.S. to Ukraine.

Pohlhaus is currently leading a movement to bring neo-Nazis to Maine for the purpose of establishing a white ethno-state, which he portrays as a "peaceful project." However, a leaked video shows Pohlhaus discussing how to target and shoot truckers in sniper operations to disrupt the United States’ supply chain. Pohlhaus promotes violent accelerationism, an ideology advocating terrorism to expedite the collapse of governments.

As a result of his vile antisemitic and white supremacist views, Christopher has lost multiple jobs, business partnerships, and representation with groups such as Venmo and TeeSpring. He was banned from Planet Fitness for wearing Nazi clothing while working out.

Today, Christopher Pohlhaus is actively raising money for his movement through the fundraising platform GiveSendGo. StopAntisemitism needs YOUR help - email GiveSendGo and demand they sever ties with neo-Nazi Christopher Pohlhaus.

Khaliq Raufi

Khaliq Raufi is an Afghan refugee residing in San Diego who was recently appointed to the San Diego County "Human Relations Commission" by County Supervisor Joel Anderson. The 31-member commission is intended to promote positive human relations, respect, and the integrity of every individual regardless of gender, religion, culture, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, or citizenship status. Though the Commission was reinstated in response to the antisemitic attack at the Chabad of Poway in 2019, no individuals were appointed to represent the Jewish community.

During a July 18th meeting, Khaliq Raufi completely disregarded the Commission's goals when he embarked on an antisemitic rant accusing the Jewish people of murdering Palestinians.

Raufi claimed he read "a few verses" in the Old Testament Book of Deuteronomy - calling it "the book of Jews" - claiming it "states to go kill Palestinians." He continued to outrageously claim those instructions to kill were being taught in synagogues.

In fact, Deuteronomy recounts the Jews wandering in the desert after fleeing Egypt and their ultimate entry into Israel. Khaliq Raufi’s comments were reported as a "hate incident" and after uproar from the community he subsequently resigned from his position, claiming the Commission was "no longer a safe space for people to express their beliefs."

Not surprisingly, this incident wasn't Khaliq Raufi’s first dive into the antisemitism pool. A simple search of his social media identifies a plethora of antisemitic posts vilifying both the Jewish nation and people.

For example, in several Facebook posts in 2021, Khaliq Raufi spreads antisemitic conspiracy theories claiming Jews run the media. He also referred to Israel's Prime Minister as “Hitler” and often referred to the Jewish people as "apartheid Jewish gangsters."

According to the IHRA working definition of antisemitism, Khaliq Raufi's demonization of the Jewish people and nation are deemed antisemitic.

How could such a vile antisemite be placed on the Commission in the first place? Community leaders must ensure dramatic changes occur, including proper vetting procedures to prevent another Khaliq Raufi from having the power to spread his vile bigotry.

If your city or town has a community relations council or similar, we strongly urge you to get involved. Jewish voices must have a seat at the table to ensure antisemitism does not go unchecked.

Ian Smith

Ian Smith, a failed Congressional candidate and former owner of Atilis Gym in Bellmawr, NJ, gained notoriety for accruing more than a million dollars in fines for illegal activities pertaining to his business in defiance of Covid-19 lockdown orders. Smith's campaign was overshadowed by his multiple DUI incidents, with the most recent one leading to his arrest on charges of driving under the influence, refusing to take a breathalyzer test, and reckless and careless driving. Smith had previously been involved in a drunk driving crash in 2007, which resulted in the death of a 19-year-old student named Kevin Ade.

As Ian Smith began to grow in his online presence, his staunch antisemitic views, tweets promoting violence, and continuous criminal activities began to surface.

Throughout Smith's posts, he often touts the false antisemitic trope of Jewish 'power.' For example:

  • In 2022, Smith tweeted: "There is no American government, only a mafia controlled by bankers. (Guess what kind of bankers)."

  • In February 2023, he tweeted: "Communism is not our biggest threat, the cooperation between powerful global corporations and a political oligarchy backed by Zionist bankers is the cause of almost every problem in our lives."

  • In June of 2023, Smith tweeted, "How come when I criticize the American government, Americans don’t take it as a personal attack but when I criticize Israel and powerful Zionists, Jewish people take it personally?"

Just this past week, Smith attempted to rationalize the lack of prosecution of crypto billionaire Sam Bankman-Fried on the fact he was Jewish and that of Jewish control by using ((( ))), often used by white supremacists and Jew haters to define Jews.

Ian Smith has also tweeted on multiple occasions questioning dual-loyalty between Americans and Israel, insinuating Jews are somehow separate from the rest of society, fostering an "us vs. them" mentality.

Smith’s ongoing Jew hatred is broadcasted throughout his social media postings. Examples include:

  • In similar vein to the white supremacist group, the Goyim Defense League (GDL), who roam the country spreading hundreds of antisemitic pamphlets, Smith contends that the "trans agenda" is a deliberate part of a Jewish 'scheme.'

  • Smith often downplays the evils of Hitler and Nazi Germany by comparing them to other atrocities in history. He mocked the seriousness of antisemitism with a graphic that says, "when you are worse than the Nazis but nobody cares because you flooded western academia with your useful idiots."

According to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance's (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism, making false and deceitful claims regarding Jewish or Zionist 'power' and 'control' is considered antisemitic. This suggests that Jews are using their influence to manipulate financial systems for their own benefit, which has been historically used to discriminate against and marginalize Jewish communities. Additionally, accusing Jewish Americans of having dual-loyalty to both America and Israel is also an act of antisemitism. These harmful stereotypes and false conspiracies have been attributed to centuries-old violence against the Jewish people.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Photo: Anna Moneymaker / Getty Images

Robert Francis Kennedy Jr. (RFK Jr.) is a Democratic Presidential candidate for the 2024 election and the third son of former U.S. Attorney General & Senator Robert F. Kennedy. RFK Jr. has veered sharply away from his father's legacy of unwavering support for the Jewish people and their homeland, choosing instead to embrace the bitter taste of antisemitism in his rhetoric and actions. Upon entering the 2024 presidential election, RFK Jr. appeared to be participating in an 'apology tour' for these actions. Unfortunately, the damage – of vile Jew-hatred through the guise of age-old conspiracies – has been done.

In 2015, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. visited Louis Farrakhan and hailed him a "truly great partner" for his involvement in pushing vaccine theories targeting African Americans. In 2019, Farrakhan was named StopAntisemitism's 'Antisemite of the Week' for his atrocious antisemitic rhetoric of calling Jews "termites," blaming them for the slave trade, making false references to "Jewish power," and claiming the modern Jewish people are "fake Jews."

Kennedy later continued to collaborate with the Nation of Islam on vaccine issues and claimed he was not aware of Farrakhan's history of antisemitism at the time. However, his private diary revealed contradictory statements, expressing concerns about Farrakhan's antisemitic views as he describes his disillusionment with civil rights leader Jesse Jackson, writing: "His [Jackson’s] love affair with Louis Farrakhan and his Jewish xenophobia are also unforgivable.” Kennedy claimed to have cut ties with the Nation of Islam after learning of Farrakhan's comments about Jews, but in 2021 Kennedy hosted Tony Muhammad, a Nation of Islam official, to discuss an unfounded claim that scientists were conducting harmful experiments on black Americans through vaccinations.

RFK Jr. also defended Roger Waters who was crowned StopAntisemitism's “Antisemite of the Week" last month for his continued antisemitism online and throughout his concerts. After Jewish organizations condemned Waters' actions and speech on Jewish "power" and "control," RFK Jr. tweeted: "Roger You are the global hero Orwell had in mind when he said “In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act” The high priests of the totalitarian orthodoxies are trying to silence you with censorship, gaslighting and defamation. Please keep speaking truth to power!" Kennedy quickly deleted the tweet and attempted to claim his words were in reference to the COVID-19 vaccine.

On July 15, 2023, video surfaced of Kennedy discussing a disproven claim between COVID-19 and the Jewish people. In the footage Kennedy states, "COVID-19 is targeted to attack Caucasians and black people. The people who are most immune are Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese.” Jewish organizations, the Democratic party, and even members of the Kennedy family were quick to dismiss RFK Jr's., words as antisemitic.

Video footage obtained by the NY Post of RFK Jr.

For centuries, Jews have been at the center of conspiracy theories related to pandemics, wars, slavery, and economic status. The notion that Jews bear the blame for diseases or are somehow immune to their effects harkens back to the medieval period. As with the anti-Jewish conspiracies of the past, there is zero evidence to support RFK Jr.’s claims about COVID-19's connection to the Jewish people.

On July 20th, 2023, Kennedy testified during the House Judiciary hearing of censorship and claimed, "I want to say this, while I’m on the record, that in my entire life and, while I’m under oath, in my entire life, I have never uttered a phrase that was either racist, or antisemitic." According to documented statements of his in the past, this is simply false. For example:

  • Just weeks before Kennedy made this declaration in the House, he met with the vile anti-Jewish rapper, Ice Cube. In June 2020, Ice Cube was named StopAntisemitism's 'Antisemite of the Week' for supporting the beliefs of the radicalized hate group 'The Black Hebrew Israelites (BHI). 'The BHI sect maintains that today’s Jews are religious converts who descended from the Khazars, with no historical connection to the land of Israel.

  • In 2022, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. issued an apology for his remarks insinuating that the conditions under the COVID-19 restrictions and mandates were more severe than those endured by Anne Frank's experiences during the Holocaust. In response, his wife, actor Cheryl Hines, tweeted separately, distancing herself from his statement and calling it "reprehensible and insensitive.

  • On June 5, 1968, Sirhan Sirhan, a Palestinian who held strong anti-Zionist beliefs assassinated Senator Robert F. Kennedy Sr. Sirhan murdered the Senator over his open support of the State of Israel. RFK Jr. wrote in the San Francisco Chronicle that he denies that Sirhan is responsible for the death of his father.

The IHRA working definition of antisemitism is a comprehensive guideline that defines antisemitism as a certain perception of Jews, which may target their religion, ethnicity, or the state of Israel. It includes manifestations such as hatred, discrimination, and conspiracy theories about Jewish people. The definition is used globally to help identify and combat various forms of antisemitism.

Those who continually violate this definition of antisemitism - like Robert Francis Kennedy Jr. - should never be in the position of running for President of the United States.

Elijah Schaffer

Elijah Schaffer is a radical political commentator and host of the 'Slightly Offensive' podcast, where he hosts vile antisemites and spreads dangerous conspiracy theories against the Jewish people to his nearly one million social media followers. Schaffer gained notoriety when he began to clash over his controversial reporting style with his then-boss Glenn Beck of The Blaze. Amid the ongoing controversy, Schaffer was hit with a sexual assault allegation that led to his dismissal from Glenn Beck and Blaze Media.

On multiple occasion Schaffer has invited Jew-hater Nick Fuentes on his podcast. Fuentes was named StopAntisemitism’s "Antisemite of the Week" for his leadership in the 'Groyper Army', a neo-Nazi organization that espouses antisemitic rhetoric against the American Jewish community. Fuentes is also a Holocaust denier who pushes Kanye West’s Jew-hatred across college campuses.

In October 2022, after Kanye threatened to go "Death con 3" on the Jewish people, Elijah Schaffer chastised those who censored Kanye’s threats as it hindered any room for a "healthy public debate." He contributed to a series of tweets that mocked American Jews who took offense to being physically threatened by the disgraced rapper.

During an episode of The Blaze's "You Are Here," Schaffer criticized foreign influence in U.S. politics, including countries like Qatar, China, and Russia. However, he also mentioned the nonexistent "Zionist Movement of America" as a sponsor of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) and accused Israel of exploiting "the greed of Americans." By including Israel in his discussion of foreign influence, Schaffer perpetuated the dangerous antisemitic trope of Jewish and Israeli control over U.S. policy.

In August 2022, weeks before his firing from Blaze Media, Schaffer hosted a panel of racist and antisemitic guests. The three delved into gross racial stereotypes of various marginalized groups. The men spoke about Jewish bakeries and media involvement where one host said, "they love ovens." Schaffer responded, "Why do you think I work here? If you want to get into media, who are you going to work for?" He followed with, "Keep your inner circle white so your sh*t doesn’t get stolen."

Elijah Schaffer’s antisemitism is not limited to his podcast; examples of his anti-Jewish bigotry include:

  • In February 2021, Schaffer tweeted, "Remember when Hitler and the Jews had different cultural norms?"

  • In August 2022, in response to StopAntisemitism linking the Parkland Shooter’s motivation to Jew-hatred, Schaffer responded, "spinning this killing into antisemitism mocks both the victims of this killing & real antisemitism."

  • In February 2023, in response to Palestinians training children soldiers to murder Israelis, Schaffer compared Israelis to Nazis by tweeting, "If any white country treated POC the way Israelis treat Palestinians, they’d be called Nazis."

Most shockingly, last week Schaffer asked his 624,000 followers on Twitter if they believed that "Jews disproportionately control the world institutions, banks, & are waging war on white, western society?" Nearly two million Twitter users viewed the tweet with more than 94,000 votes being cast, and as of Friday 49.5% voted "Yes, 100%" and 22.3% voted "Yes, it’s complicated."

Throughout the global pandemic, Elijah Schaffer made a habit of comparing COVID-19 regulations to the Holocaust, including:

  • In August 2020, LAPD were called to the house party of an influencer at a time when public gatherings were encouraged to be minimal. Schaffer tweeted, "These people would have reported the Jews to the Gestapo."

  • In December 2021, the Illinois Holocaust Museum announced their requirements of COVID-19 vaccination cards for their visitors. Schaffer tweeted them with the caption, "Are Jews allowed in without papers?"

The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism defines antisemitism as the act of making false, dehumanizing, demonizing, or stereotypical claims about Jews, including the propagation of harmful myths like a global Jewish conspiracy or Jews having control over the media, economy, government, or other societal institutions. Schaffer's ongoing harassment and flagrant libel of global "power" and "control" against the Jewish people directly contradicts IHRA's definition of antisemitism.

StopAntisemitism needs YOUR help. Upon his dismissal from The Blaze, Schaffer moved his podcast to Rumble. Email Rumble and demand they permanently sever ties with Elijah Schaffer over his dangerous Jew-hatred.

Jeffrey Perrine

Jeffrey Perrine of Sacramento, California is a violent neo-Nazi extremist and former member of the Proud Boys who has become increasingly active in the white supremacist group, Goyim Defense League (GDL). Perrine openly supports Adolf Hitler and the Nazi regime, spreads antisemitic libels, espouses vile antisemitism, and has a troubling history of harassment and physical assault.

Perrine, a prominent figure in the Sacramento area, has experienced notable challenges in a thus-far unsuccessful attempt at a political career to secure positions on the School Board and State Assembly. His association with the Proud Boys and the revelation of his secret Telegram accounts where he expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler and the Nazi regime led to his dismissal from a position he held within the Sacramento County GOP Central Committee.

Perrine claims the Proud Boys were infiltrated by the Jews to create chaos and disruption. He continued his rant, stating "Jews are a footnote in history" and went on to promote Nazis for having family values.

Jeffrey Perrine goes by the alias of 'unapologeticallywhite' on social media, where he spreads dangerous libels of Jewish power and control and blames leaders or individuals for being "Jew-pilled" – an antisemitic trope claiming Jews control aspects of the media and government. Perrine's social media posts are filled with vile antisemitic comments referencing the Jewish people. He greets his followers with "hail brother," referencing the phrase "hail Hitler."

Perrine has close ties to GDL leader Jon Minadeo II, who has been featured twice as StopAntisemitism's 'Antisemite of the Week' for his grotesque antisemitic actions towards the Jewish community. In June of 2023, Minadeo praised Perrine for his involvement with the ongoing antisemitic call-ins to Walnut City Council meetings in which there was a string of harassment towards the Jewish community involving propaganda and tropes of "Jewish control of the media." Perrine joined members of White Lives Matter and GDL last month to distribute antisemitic propaganda throughout various cities, bragging on a voice memo of his involvement.

Despite the innocent image he attempts to display in his political aspirations, Perrine has a violent past. In 2018, Perrine was taped at a Portland protest engaging in the violent beating of a jogger who challenged Perrine and other Proud Boys' views. He was later arrested when he took a bullhorn and stated that illegal immigrants should have their "heads smashed into the concrete." While running for a local government position in Sacramento, Perrine was taped making verbal threats and physical advances towards his opponent. In March of 2023, Perrine was arrested for harassing and stalking a pastor at his place of work. As he was arrested, he continually called the arresting officers "ZOGbots," a term related to the conspiracy theory known as "ZOG" or "Zionist Occupied Government," asserting that the U.S. Government is controlled by Jews.

Jeffrey Perrine currently runs a digital clothing shop where he sells merchandise featuring swastikas, images of Adolf Hitler, and other prominent figures from the Nazi Party. He uses Telegram to advertise these items to his followers and other neo-Nazis. One of his popular merch items features the slogan "White Boy Summer" with an image of Adolf Hitler, Joseph Goebbels, and Heinrich Himmler driving a car with Nazi symbols.

Rasha Abdel Latif

Jordanian-born Rasha Abdel Latif is Amnesty International's newest U.S. Board member. Harsh criticism of the Board's election of Latif grew after Latif's antisemitic comments surfaced in which she dignified the murder of Jewish Israeli civilians, praised Palestinian rocket attacks, celebrated the escape of convicted terrorists & murderers, insisted Israel doesn't exist, and argued Israel will be expelled from the Middle East.

A mere four days before accepting her new Amnesty role, Latif retweeted a post honoring a deadly terror attack in Tel Aviv. Latif's record of Jew-hatred, support for Palestinian rocket attacks, and the elimination of Israel, litters her social media. Notably, in a 2013 tweet, she wrote: "There is nothing called "Israel" it is Palestine territory"."

In February 2022, Latif retweeted a cartoon showing the land of Israel flicking away the Star of David with Arabic text that reads: "This land does not fit two identities. It's either us - or us."

In 2014, Latif said Jews are "strangers" to the land and often calls Israel an apartheid state and shares false imagery or footage of a wall barrier that is racist toward Palestinians. She fails to mention that the wall Israel erected is a security checkpoint in direct response to ongoing terror attacks perpetrated by Palestinian terrorists. After the wall was built, bombing attacks have dropped considerably.

In September 2021, Latif retweeted a post by former Palestinian Authority spokesperson Nour Odeh. The post celebrated the escape of Palestinian terrorists from a prison in Israel.

Latif shares support for Palestinian “resistance fighters" and their excessive use of rocket fire against innocent Israeli civilians. In May 2021, she showed support for Hamas' rocket fire aimed to destroy Israel by falsely claiming the attacks were legal under international law.

Perpetuating dialogue that entertains the notion of the dissolution or illegitimacy of the State of Israel inflames tensions and undermines efforts to achieve peaceful resolutions to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It fosters an environment of intolerance, prejudice, and antisemitism, which goes against the principles of equality and human rights, according to Amnesty International's core values.

Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination by claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor is deemed antisemitic by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance's (IHRA) definition of antisemitism.

Agnés Callamard, a previous 'Antisemite of the Week' and Secretary-General of Amnesty International, shamefully morphed Amnesty into a witch-hunt against the world's sole Jewish nation. Amnesty International's record of contributing to antisemitism contradicts the organization's mission of "protecting individuals wherever justice, fairness, freedom, and truth are denied."

It is extremely dangerous for respected organizations to cloak their antisemitism as humanitarianism. As long as Amnesty International continues to hire antisemites like Rasha Abdel Latif, they will never live up to the nobility of their mission.

Please help us hold these organizations accountable by liking, sharing, and commenting on StopAntisemitism’s social media posts!

True See Allah - aka Troy Christopher Watson

True-See Allah, known previously as Troy Christopher Watson, is the Director for Community Engagement with the Boston District Attorney's office who was recently discovered to be a devoted follower and advocate of the former "Antisemite of the Week," Louis Farrakhan. Farrakhan is the leader of the Nation of Islam (NOI), a Black supremacist and designated hate organization known for promoting antisemitism.

Despite Farrakhan's antisemitic and hate filled rhetoric, Allah has openly admired him, referring to him as the "undisputed Champion for all of humanity." Shockingly, Allah's membership in the NOI and his support for Farrakhan did not prevent Suffolk County District Attorney Kevin Hayden from appointing him in the role tasked with evaluating and responding to community needs.

Allah's career path includes previous positions in the Massachusetts government, such as working in the Suffolk County Sheriff's Department and the state's Executive Office of Public Safety and Security. However, his background is marked by a troubled past, including a conviction for his involvement in a gang-related shooting in 1989 that left the victim paralyzed. After leaving prison, Allah changed his name and joined NOI, becoming a prominent member of the organization and serving as an officer at a Boston NOI mosque.

This past week, a 2016 broadcast featuring True-See Allah espousing antisemitism surfaced. Throughout the interview, Allah praised Farrakhan for his beliefs and referred to a Jewish individual he encountered as a "Jewish guy who's got short arms and deep pockets," perpetuating a stereotype about Jews and their alleged greed.

In a 2022 interview conducted several months after he began his job at the defense attorney’s office, Allah expressed his gratitude for NOI for help towards his pardon, his admiration for Farrakhan, and his career goals of connecting NOI “to the top” via his position with the D.A.’s office, a relationship which he says has been hindered by “the misperception from the Jewish community.”

Making dehumanizing, demonizing, or stereotypical allegations about the Jewish people as such or the power of Jews as a collective are clear examples of antisemitism according to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism.

StopAntisemitism's Executive Director, Liora Rez, was interviewed on Fox News Digital calling for True-See Allah's removal. A few days later, True-See Allah was placed on paid administrative leave.

StopAntisemitism needs YOUR help. Email Boston District Attorney's Office and demand they permanently sever ties with True-See Allah over his dangerous connections and personal admiration for antisemitic bigot Louis Farrakhan.

Henry Bens Jr.

UPDATE October 4, 2023: After several months of investigation into a Hayward high school teacher who used an antisemitic text as a class assignment, the Hayward Unified School District board voted unanimously last week to fire a “certificated employee,” who J. has since learned was Henry Bens; more here.

*** *** ***

Henry Bens Jr. is a high school educator propagating and promoting antisemitic conspiracy theories and tropes in Northern California’s Hayward Unified School District. Bens maintains ties with the extremist group Black Hebrew Israelites (BHI), a fringe, cult-like, religious movement that mimics the extremist rhetoric of the Nation of Islam (NOI) and fuels Jew-hatred and antisemitic violence. Identified as a hate group by StopAntisemitism and multiple others, its core agenda is the false belief that Black Americans are the true descendants of the biblical Israelites, and that modern-day Jews are imposters who stole the religious heritage of Black people.

Bens actively upholds and shares his antisemitic views on social media; for example in October 2020, Bens claimed "The Khazars, Converts to Judaism, are not from any of the 12 Tribes of Israel, because they are not of the seed of Abraham nor Jacob!” The Black Hebrew Israelites maintain that today’s Jews are religious converts who descended from the Khazars, with no historical connection to the land of Israel.

Bens also posts rhetoric denying the Jewish people of their ancestral home and history, defends notorious antisemites, and spreads antisemitic conspiracy theories of Jewish power and control. For example:

  • In October 2022, he ranted on Facebook about companies cutting ties with Kanye West over his antisemitic comments. Bens stated, "All these happened because Kanye made truth claims about the so-called Jewish people."

  • In November 2022, he praised Kyrie Irving for promoting the antisemitic film "Hebrews to Negroes." The film falsely accuses the Jewish people of replacing Black people as the original descendants of Israel. Bens followed with another post questioning the what constitutes the Holocaust and shamefully compared it to slavery.

The following week, Bens questioned, "Do Zionist exercise a monopoly over Mass Media in the U.S.?" an age-old antisemitic trope often fueled by white supremacists.

In February 2023, it was discovered that Henry Bens distributed antisemitic materials to his students, including photocopies of literature falsely attributing "global power" and "world domination" to the Jewish people as a whole.

Shockingly, students stated on numerous occasions Bens would often perform Nazi salutes, even going as far as saying, "if I was alive during Hitler’s time, I would have an interview with him…I would let him share his views." Bens was also quoted for "wanting to remove the blindfold" of indoctrination as students had been lied to regarding the history of the Holocaust and Jewish "world domination." It was later discovered that many students had requested to change classrooms due to his extremist views including, but not limited to antisemitism, homophobia, and sexism.

Several students approached the school administration multiple times regarding Mr. Bens and were left unsatisfied by the silence and failure to act. A teacher confirmed and reiterated concerns to administration but they repeatedly stated they could not do anything about Bens’ curriculum because of "academic freedom" and they "can’t do anything to discipline him because the union will protect him." As a result, students began organizing efforts to combat these antisemitic teachings. Outrageously, school and district officials criticized the students' initiative, claiming they exceeded authorized actions and canceling all planned events. District officials offered to hold an event on Holocaust Remembrance Day, but there was only a moment of silence scheduled for Holocaust victims, and then the event was othered as a "multicultural day."

Finally, after tremendous outcry from students, parents, and faculty, the administration at Mt. Eden High School placed Henry Bens on academic leave. However, it was discovered he was and is still actively on paid leave!

Jewish students at Mt. Eden High and the Hayward Unified County District deserve to feel safe on campus, free from antisemitic bigots like Henry Bens. How can YOU help? Email Mt. Eden High’s administration and the Hayward Unified County District to relieve Henry Bens of his position without pay!

CUNY Chancellor Felix Matos Rodríguez

In 2019, Felix Matos Rodriguez was promoted as Chancellor of The City University of New York (CUNY), leading the nation’s largest urban university and overseeing its 25 colleges and nearly 250,000 students. Just 4 short years later, in the city where the population is 20% Jewish, Matos Rodriguez has transformed CUNY into America’s most antisemitic university.

Matos Rodriguez parades himself as a "champion of student equity" however results show CUNY’s Jewish students and faculty are continually disregarded, dismissed, and attacked over their identity. Jewish students at CUNY have said they have been harassed and bullied to the point of some dropping out. In most of these instances, the perpetrators of this abuse are never addressed, and Chancellor Matos Rodriguez’s silence is deafening.

Chancellor Matos Rodriguez has strategically replaced Jewish leaders with individuals that spew harmful antisemitic rhetoric. Three of CUNY’s senior leaders have alleged ties to the Hamas-connected Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the antisemitic BDS movement. For example, in 2019, Chancellor Matos Rodriguez hired CAIR’s Minnesota Director Saly Abd Alla as CUNY’s Chief Diversity Officer, overseeing all 25 campuses and its students. Abd Alla championed the BDS movement in her tenure with CAIR. The Minnesota chapter of CAIR became so extreme that the national chapter of CAIR distanced itself from her group. As the Chief Diversity Officer for CUNY, Abd Alla oversees all issues of injustice, including antisemitism. However, under Abd Alla, CUNY received two Title VI complaints over the ongoing ignored instances of antisemitic behaviors at CUNY.

In 2021, under the supervision of Chancellor Matos Rodriguez, the president of CUNY's faculty union, James Davis, was recognized as a BDS activist and promoter of anti-Jewish sentiments within CUNY; under his leadership, the association has supported campaigns to remove Zionism from CUNY. In June 2021, the adoption of an antisemitic and pro-BDS resolution by the union led to the resignation of around 300 faculty members, many of whom were Jewish, in protest. As an additional stain on the tenure of Chancellor Matos Rodríguez, six CUNY professors are suing to sever all ties to the school’s faculty union over its antisemitic views.

In 2022, Jeffrey Lax, an Orthodox Jew who is the Business Department Chair at CUNY’s Kingsborough Community College, filed multiple complaints of antisemitic harassment, including the vicious attack of a visibly Jewish student at the hands of a fellow student. Chancellor Matos Rodriguez appointed Abd Alla to oversee the complaints of Lax. When outcry came over this move, Chancellor Rodriguez defended Abd Alla by falsely denying she had any connection to BDS or antisemitic groups, which would prevent her from holding a just investigation. These were the first of many failures which led to antisemitic incidents skyrocketing on CUNY campuses under Matos Rodriguez’s leadership.

In 2023, the state of New York issued an official probe into CUNY Law School over anti-Jewish bias and BDS support. The investigation is deciding whether CUNY discriminated against Jewish students when its faculty council passed a resolution last year supporting the anti-Israel BDS movement. The probe shows faculty encouraging CUNY to end exchange programs with Israel and to support the BDS movement. The inquiry also confirmed the movement outrageously sought to remove Hillel – a Jewish campus organization –from CUNY campuses.

In 2022, Chancellor Matos Rodriguez claimed CUNY would spend a whopping $1million addressing discrimination on all 25 campuses yet missed hearings on antisemitism when they were rescheduled at his request and failed to appear at the newly scheduled hearings.

Despite his promises, CUNY Law School also continued to host two antisemitic commencement speakers to address graduates at the 2022 and 2023 graduations. In 2022, former "Antisemite of the Year" Nerdeen Kiswani was approved to address law students. Kiswani, a rabid antisemite and terror sympathizer, attempts to conceal her vile Jew-hatred as an anti-Israel activist. Kiswani shares her desires to see Jews killed and documented herself attempting to light a Black man’s sweatshirt on fire because it supported the Israeli Defense Forces. In 2023, CUNY Law hosted Fatima Mousa Mohammed, who spent her time at CUNY Law pushing BDS and supporting the removal of Jewish professors. In her commencement speech, Mohammed promoted violence, spread hatred of Israel and the police, paid tribute to Hamas financiers, and demonstrated solidarity with the BDS movement. Her words garnered harsh criticism from around the country from Jewish organizations, U.S. politicians on both sides of the aisle, and prominent CUNY alums.

Chancellor Matos Rodriquez is not an apathetic bystander to Jew-hatred, but rather an accessory to it, greenlighting antisemitic screeds as he ducks accountability. StopAntisemitism has called on New York Governor Kathy Hochul to step in and save CUNY from itself by removing Chancellor Matos Rodriguez and replacing him with a leader who is committed to protecting every one of CUNY’s students.

How can you help? Please email Governor Hochul and call upon her to immediately remove Chancellor Matos Rodriguez.

Fatima Mousa Mohammed

Fatima Mousa Mohammed - CUNY Law's recent commencement speaker - is a rabid antisemite that utilizes social media and participates in dangerous pro-Palestinian rallies to spread her hatred towards Jews, Israel, and America. She advocates for the destruction of the world's only Jewish state, pushes the antisemitic BDS movement, and expresses support for violence.

In a since-deleted slew of deranged antisemitic and violent threats, Fatima Mohammed stated: "May every Zionist burn in the hottest pit in hell" and compared the Jewish state to Nazis. According to a Pew study, more than 90% of the world’s Jews identify as Zionists. Also, Mohammed's now deleted Instagram account bio shockingly read "Always remember, death to Israel."

Additional antisemitic tirades of Fatima Mousa Mohammed include:

  • In response to the 2021 violence involving Hamas and Palestinian terrorists launching over 4,000 rockets against Israel, Mohammed tweeted, "May Allah destroy Israel."

  • In the summer of 2021, Fatima tweeted, "I pray upon the death of the USA…having an American flag in your bio/location is adjacent to having the Israeli to me you are all t£rr0r1sts to me.

  • In May 2022, Fatima Mohammed tweeted, "Quick make dua [pray] for the fall of Zionism and the destruction of Israel."

Fatima Mohammed often serves as a speaker for various events arranged by the radical group Within Our Lifetime (WOL). WOL, an extremist and militant group founded by 2020 “Antisemite of the Year” Nerdeen Kiswani, often serves as ground zero for assaults on Jews.

Mohammed began studying at CUNY Law School in 2021 and it wasn’t long before she began pushing BDS and attacking Zionism. In March 2022, during a WOL rally, she demanded all Zionist professors be removed from CUNY. During the same rally, she falsely claimed Israel was responsible for American police brutality and compared racial tensions in the U.S. to the Israel/Palestine conflict, stating: "The same forces incarcerating Black people in this country, are the same forces that are killing Palestinians."

Also at that rally, 'Antisemite of the Week' Sadaah Masoud assaulted a Jewish man named Matt Greenman. Moments before Masoud's violent attack on Greenman, Fatima shouted, "and the last reminder of today is: greater empires have crumbled beneath our feet! Israel… you will crumble too! It’s a matter of time!... by the glory to the resistance, it will happen!” Masoud is now serving 18 months in prison for attacking Greenman.

Fatima Mousa Mohammed, March 2022 Midtown Manhattan at a WOL event

In 2023, Mohammed was elected to give the CUNY Law graduating class’s commencement speech. In her remarks, Mohammed promoted violence, spread hatred of Israel and the police, paid tribute to Hamas financiers, and demonstrated solidarity with the BDS movement. Her words garnered harsh criticism from around the country from Jewish organizations, U.S. politicians on both sides of the aisle, as well as prominent CUNY alums.

The following are frightening highlights from her speech:

  • Fatima Mohammed stated, "In this moment of celebrating who we are, I want to celebrate CUNY Law as one of the few, if not the only, law school to make a public statement defending the right of its students to organize and speak out against Israeli settler colonialism."

  • She advocated for Hamas terrorists (Holy Land Five) who were indicted for transferring large funds to Hamas in the name of humanitarian aid.

  • Fatima concluded in her speech at the sounds of applause from the audience that the "joy, excitement, and rage that fills this auditorium will fuel for the fight against capitalism, racism, imperialism, and Zionism around the world." She further rallied the crowd by declaring a revolution will come

Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, boycotting Israeli goods, and drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis are deemed antisemitic by the IHRA working definition of antisemitism.

StopAntisemitism and Jewish students at CUNY need YOUR help! Please email CUNY's Board of Trustees and demand CUNY Chancellor Felix Matos Rodríguez is removed for his ongoing failures to adequately fight Jew-hatred at CUNY.

Antisemite of the Week Update: Roger Waters

Roger Waters, co-founder of the band Pink Floyd, has grossly doubled down on his antisemitism since his “Antisemite of the Week” feature in 2019. These incidents stem from his support for the antisemitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, his claims of Jewish power and control, and his minimization of the Holocaust.

A few weeks ago, despite public outcry and petitions, Germany allowed Waters’ concert to proceed. In true Waters fashion, his performance had multiple antisemitic themes: at one point, he donned an outfit similar to an SS German officer and fired a fake automatic rifle.

To add further insult to injury, Waters presented the names of Anne Frank and Shireen Abu Akleh side by side, comparing a parallel between the teenage Holocaust victim and the Palestinian journalist who was accidentally killed while covering the Israel-Palestinian conflict.

Waters, an adamant supporter of BDS, also calls for the isolation and cultural boycott of the Jewish nation. He falsely compares the Israeli government's treatment of Palestinians to apartheid South Africa and shockingly compares Israel to Nazi Germany. Some of his statements and actions have been paraded at his largely attended concerts. For example, in 2013, he used a large inflatable pig with a Star of David to signify Jewish greed and control, causing significant controversy as it invoked dangerous antisemitic stereotypes.

Not surprisingly, Roger Waters also associates with as well as defends prominent antisemites such as Linda Sarsour. After StopAntisemitism's successful campaign in which Geico cut ties with Linda Sarsour in 2022 after we exposed her vile Jew hatred to Geico's executives, Waters went on a rant that Geico caved to the "Zionists" and that some "Zionist person" was behind the firing.

A few months later, Waters went on the podcast of former Antisemite of the Week Joe Rogan, where the two spoke and discussed what they considered to be antisemitic. Waters defended Hamas and claimed Israel was responsible for the Palestinian’s ongoing intifadas because the Israelis will eventually "slaughter the Palestinians."

In an interview with “Ha’aretz” this month, Waters blamed the "Jewish lobby" for perpetuating the false notion that he was antisemitic. During the same interview, he called for an end to the Jewish state.

Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, boycotting Israeli goods, and drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis are deemed antisemitic by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s (IHRA) definition of antisemitism.

Thankfully, Berlin authorities announced they were launching a criminal investigation into the actions that took place at Roger Waters’ concert mentioned above.

Despite Germany's investigation and the ongoing antisemitic behavior of Roger Waters, the movie giant AMC Theaters has decided to proceed with promoting his current film!

How can YOU help? Email AMC Theaters' CEO Adam Aron and demand they stop all promotion of Roger Waters.

New York Assemblyman Zohran Kwame Mamdani

Zohran Kwame Mamdani is a community organizer based in New York City pushing the antisemitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement (BDS). In 2020, Mamdani ran for the New York State Assembly representing District 36, which covers parts of Queens. He ran as a Democratic Socialist and with the endorsement of previous "Antisemitic of the Week" Linda Sarsour. He beat the incumbent in the Democratic primary by less than 500 votes and went on to win the election in both 2020 and 2022, running unopposed.

Zohran Mamdani proudly claims credit for starting a Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) chapter in college and has a long history of supporting the BDS movement. For example:

  • In May 2021, he tweeted: "We pay our elected officials with our tax $$$ to represent us but they go on paid-for trips to Israel. We have three words for them #BDS. Every elected must be pressured to stand with Palestinians, oppose Apartheid & assert that the fight for dignity knows no exception."

  • In 2021, like Linda Sarsour, Mamdani attempted to assert his BDS views into the Black Lives Matter movement. He often tweets, "We are paving a new path, one where we stand against injustice & apartheid whether in Ferguson or Palestine” or "#BLM or #BDS."

  • In 2022, Mamdani attacked Pro-Israel Representative Ritchie Torres tweeting, "#BDS is a righteous movement for liberation, one supported by queer people & Jewish people & socialists & abolitionists & all those who know another world is possible."

In August 2022, Mamdani went on a Twitter rant claiming American politicians are essentially bought and paid for by the Israeli government. He also condemned the Iron Dome Defense Missile System, which is credited for saving thousands of Jewish and Arab lives alike.

This month, Zohran Mamdani introduced legislation that pushes pro-BDS legislation known as "Not on Our Dime." The bill would penalize charities that aid various communities within Israel. A collective of 25 assembly membes, led by Daniel Rosenthal and Nily Rozic, issued a shared message emphasizing the risks posed by Mamdani's proposed legislation and assert that this BDS tactic was introduced to create division.

Denying the Jewish peoples' right to self-determination, claiming the existence of the State of Israel is a racist endeavor, and expressing the Jewish nation "buys" foreign politicians for influence are all examples of antisemitism according to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism, something Zohran Kwame Mamdani is grossly guilty of.

StopAntisemitism needs YOUR help! Please email New York State Assembly speaker Carl Heastie to demand the Assembly formally censure Mamdani for his targeted antisemitic discrimination.
